Matt Groneing and company always puts out a top notch product. Disc's that are full of a boat load of extras such as deleted scenes, episodes with commentary, featurettes, hidden easter eggs and other things that we all have come to love and expect from Matt and FOX home video. The artwork is awesome and the collectable Krusty the clown box is top notch as well. Unlike other DVD's that are collectable and made with "Gimic" packaging that can't be placed with your other DVD's, this one can still stand up and be placed in line with all your other Simpson's season editions as FOX as been smart enough to place the Krusty head package inside a plastic sleeve that keeps the package together and upright so it can be placed or shelved like the other season of the Simpsons. Altogether I would give this a 5 out of 5 stars. Quality packaging along with quaility episodes and special features. A wonderful Christmas gift for any Simpson's fan. Also this seasons episodes were some of the best. They include, The Mansion Family, Saddlesore Galactica, Bart to the Future, Treehouse of Horror X, Brother's Little Helper and many others including the poignant episode where Ned's wife is accidently killed, "Alone Again, Naturu-diddily" So enjoy all 22 Season 11 episodes and the countless special features which include audio commentary on ALL episodes, deleted scenes, original Sketches, Animation showcase, In line with Matt Groening, The many Faces of Krusty the clown plus many more. Also included is a Season 11 mini-booklet that contains all information on each and every episodes along with the credits and other information plus trivia. Special guests that are in this seasons episodes include Lucy lawless, Kid rock, Dick Clark, Tim robbins, Butch Patrick, Jay North, Willie Nelson, Ron Howard, Henry Winkler, The B-52's, Penn & Teller and Britney spears as well as many many more. You really can't pass up this seasons adventures which include Lisa growing up to become President, Moe getting a facelift, Bart and Homer end up in a Leper colony, Homer annoys Mel Gibson, Apu and Manjula have octuplets and Homer is abducted by evil horse-jockey trolls and Bart goes beserk on ADD medicine and plows through Springfield in a tank. Plus many more fun episodes. This is a nifty little package that any TV fan will love and enjoy for years and years to come. I'm sure like me you can't wait to open this package up and watch these classics all over again. Review: The onset of the nonsensical years is still good! - Sometime around the 9th season, the writers were bored with the Simpsons and decided that Homer no longer needed to work at the power plant if the story would work better with him doing something else. The onset of the nonsensical years is still good!
Sometime around the 9th season, the writers were bored with the Simpsons and decided that Homer no longer needed to work at the power plant if the story would work better with him doing something else. has been less than great. Only a few episodes have been good
The Simpsons, as much as it pains me to admit, has lost some of its quality. This current season, season 28, has been less than great. Only a few episodes have been good. Season 11, though, was full of some great episodes. Remember when bart was diagnosed with a.d.d? Or when Homer began a food critic? Or when Gary Coleman was a few prawns short a galaxy? Or when Lisa thought she could do Marge's job (and failed)? Or when the Simpsons had to move to a farm? There are some duds, like the one about the alligator (though I love the part with the doll) and the one where bart sees his life as an adult, but the others make up for the few duds. This is a very good season, and hopefully, they get their act together this season.

Please stop reviewing the packaging! The Krusty face comes off very, very easy with no damage.
People, please get a grip! Like many of you I do not care for the special packaging but this is the best of both worlds. The Krusty face is only attached to the box with that temporary sticky stuff commonly found on many dvds to attach credit sheets and the like. (Including most all of the past Simpson's sets) If you hate the Krusty face, peel it off! If you like it, leave it on! It's that easy. The "glue" does not leave any marks on the box. Amazon and FOX are not out to personally screw you over with this box design. Now please can everyone stop giving this season one or two stars and actually review the content? This is yet another awesome season of the show that has many essential episodes no true Simpson's fan would be without. Nuff said!

Here in one box set, spread over four discs, are all twenty two episodes of the Eleventh season of the Simpsons. Episodes are as follows: Beyond Blunderdome. Brother's little helper. Guess who's coming to criticize dinner. Treehouse of Horror X. E-I-E-I-[annoyed grunt]. Hello gutter, hello fadder. Eight misbehavin'. Take my wife, sleaze. Grift of the magi. Little Big Mom. Faith off. The Mansion Family. Saddlesore Galactica. Alone again, natura-diddily. Missionary: Impossible. Pygmoelian. Bart to the future. Days of Wine and D'oh'ses. Kill the alligator and run. Last tap dance in Springfield. It's a mad, mad, mad, mad, marge. Behind the laughter. The quality of the show at this stage in the run is a matter of opinion. And you do get the sense of them just taking an idea and running with it. But this is a very solid season. The Mel Gibson guest starring season opener 'Beyond Blunderdome' is a very good episode and a strong season opener. And the season finale 'Behind the Laughter', a parody of a certain documentary series which has the Simpsons as actors in their own show is inspired and very clever and very funny with it. The discs have the following language and subtitle options: Languages: English. Subtitles: English. Although you can choose to watch 'Beyond Blunderdome' in either Italian, Portugese, Czech, or German. All episodes have a commentary from production staff and occasionally cast members also. You can choose to watch every episode on the discs in a row or individually. Those that have deleted scenes allow you the option of putting them back into the episode should you desire. Disc one also has: A short introduction to the season from show creator Matt Groening. Animation showcase: which allows you to watch 'Beyond Blunderdome' at various stages of it's development. Disc two also has: One minutes worth of original character sketches. 'The many faces of Krusty': seven minutes worth of clips from Krusty related episodes showing how his look has been down the years. Disc three also has: Another animation showcase. Like the one on disc one, it allows you to watch 'The Mansion Family' at various stages of it's development. Disc four also has: Deleted scenes. Nineteen minutes worth of these, all the ones for the season in a row. Some are unfinished and some are in black and white. You can watch them with or without a commentary which explains why they were cut. Usually for timing reasons. Amongst them is an alternate ending for 'Beyond Blunderdome' which is well worth a look. There's also another minutes worth of original sketches. 'And then there were menus'. A minute long feature showing how the interactive menus for these dvds are put together. 'A star on Hollywood boulevard'. A two minute long feature showing the ceremony that took place when the show was granted a star on Hollywood Boulevard. As with other seasons the menus on the dvd do contain some fun animation that is well worth watching. And there are extras gags in the artwork and writing on the box of the dvd and in the booklet that comes with it. Unfortunately this season isn't as well packaged as before. Instead of putting the discs in plastic holders the packaging folds out and you have to slot them into little cardboard pockets. Which is mildly inconvenient and somewhat annoying. As with season ten this does feel a little light on extras compared to what came before. But even so, it's a strong collection and what you do get extras wise is pretty good. Just a shame about the packaging. But otherwise a very strong product.

Just like any other Simpsons DVD pack, all your favourite episodes from the 11th season, with deleted scenes, commentary, and more. I like the cardboard foldout artwork design but I'm not a fan of the way the DVDs are packaged inside the design in little pockets. I much preferred the plastic holders used in earlier seasons since there is less chance of getting scratched when you remove a DVD to watch it... but then again I also despise those little paper envelopes often used for CDs and DVDs.
