Break in
You MUST break these in. Use a good pretreat of oil, conditioner, etc... even before you try wearing them.

Nice boots, suspect quality.
Great boots, love the fit and style. Only had them about 2 months, worn them 6 weeks and the sole is separating from the upper.Clearly separating along the seam where these two join. 2 weeks out of return, and not sure what I can do now to get th jus fixed. Disappointed.

Tongue hurts
The tongue of the boot is EXREMELY uncomfortable. You can sometimes find a way to fold the tongue in a way that it lays on top of your foot comfortably, but its a hassle. Once the boot has broken in, its fine. But that break in period is rough.

Tongue too big and painful to break in - returned
Really wanted to like these boots, big wolverine fan, but wanted to try thorogood, but as others said, the tongue is poorly made. It's way too big and bunches up at the ankle and shin. It was so painful to just walk around the house in that I returned them. Never had boots that painful initially.

You need to oil them immediately because of how stiff they are
I would recommend leaving the ankle lases loose and thick socks until break in
