Braun 31S Replacement Foil and Cutter Cassette Multi Silver BLS Combi Pack

Hard to find foil for my husband older electric shaver. But works and fits perfectly.

I "found" this 20+ years old BRAUN shaver with a broken foil that I'd put away some years ago and forgotten.Figured it's time to refurb it or toss it.Plugged it in over night and (surprise !) the 20 years old NiCd battery is still good !!Refurb it is.After looking around and finding most of the spare parts are Chinese copies, I found this one.The last of the factory original BRAUN part.The plastic piece is silver instead of black but otherwise identical to the to my original screen.(It's the S in the part number.)

Works good.

I actually purchased this because my shavers (I have 2) are getting up in years, but still working beautifully, and I did not want to not be able to find a blade replacement due to cessation of production...I went ahead and tried the new one on and was surprised at how smooth and effective a cut it provided...I obviously did not realize how much the old blades had dulled...I am going to buy another one now for the other shaver...It is a joy when you are fully satisfied with a purchase these days....Good work Braun.

March 2, 2016:I purchased this item for my husband. He provided me with the specifications of the item. He says that it is the correct blade and foil to replace in his favorite Braun shaver.

I think these could be sold for a lot less and they generally last for 12-18 months. Bright side? My old Braun razor which I happen to like very much keeps on going and gives a great shave.

Made my 20 year old Braun shaver brand new again.

Not as good as the original head, but it works fairly well, just not as close a shave. It does look sturdy, compared to the original.
