Fits to the BMW navigator cradle and it works
Was a bit sceptical, ordered on the basis that it was likely to be another cheap item from China that looks good in the photos, that doesn’t fit, doesn’t work, and wasn’t what was expected, but hey, it’s only £20 so go for it. WRONG!!!! Fits perfectly into the BMW navigator cradle on my S1000XR, fixes securely, the power connectors on the back of the unit pick up the power supply direct from those on the BMW cradle, and the two USB ports are 5v live. It securely holds an IPhone X fitted inside a Lanheim IPhone X case (also available on here) and the included USB power cable, is fully working without throwing any apple fault messages up. Perfect job, well done KK Moon, probably the best £20 I’ve spent on amazon for a while.

Nice Idea
Although I prefer to use the proper satnav on my bike I don't need it for day to day journeys but do like access to my phone. This seemed to be a good idea.In some ways it is good. The manufacturing quality is a little basic in places but for the price it does the job and fits on the satnav holder OK. It's good that it enables the phone to be charged without running a cable to the bike socket as well. I use a iPhone XS Max and it is a struggle together it in the clamps though. It will go but not sure how secure it is.Now to actually using it. As a satnav I am not so sure. This is a criticism of the idea of using the phone on a bike rather than the device itself but I think these are valid comments, A lot of bikers like the idea of using their phone as a satnav but its not bike glove friendly. I have tried the supposedly touch sensitive gloves and the liquid that can be put on glove fingers to make them touch sensitive. Neither are totally successful. That then leads to another problem and that is if there is a pop up on the phone screen it can be hard to get rid of it. I think its OK for the BMW Connected app for short journeys. For normal phone use it would be better if there was a means of turning the phone 90 degrees. Some phones allow this but not mine so for any other phone use than navigation the screen can be difficult to read. For me the bottom line is that for my normal day to day riding this is an OK device. Reasonably well made for the price, keeps the phone charged and has some limited use. For longer trips I think I will go back to a proper satnav and a separate phone bracket which holds the phone in "portrait" mode.

Poor quality overpriced piece of plastic — don’t believe YouTube
This is much lower quality than I expected. Don’t believe the influencers videos on YouTube. It’s a cheap piece of plastic, the connecting cable is quite inelegant, the anti-rain rubber plugs come off instantaneously, and the spring requires enormous force to open. Worst of all is that the electronic connectors in the back are lose (off of their intended lodging) and make poor contact with the connectors in the bike GPS preparation. This makes the charging feature very much hit and miss, now it works, now it doesn’t. I’m indeed worried that this may damage the circuitry in the bike. I’ll be returning this. It’s a pity because it’s a piece of product really needed, can’t believe no company out there took the chance to make a quality product that fills this niche.PS. Just to add that the clamp that keeps the phone in place hits the volume down button (on iPhone 11 Pro, but imagine the same is true of iPhone X and 12). This switches the volume off, and stops one from turning it up again. Also, I can’t imagine it’s healthy for the phone to stand all that pressure on a button for the hours and hours the phone is expected to be in the cradle. Can’t believe nobody noticed this so far.

Very impressed - works perfectly!
I've been looking for a suitable phone holder for my BMW R1200GSA 2018 and eventually came across this. This phone holder is absolutely perfect - feels well made and is literally plug and play. Took me 2 minutes to install if that. Not sure what all the extra cables/plastic box is for but the product works as described. The only flaw I can pick in this is the charging cable only accommodates for micro usb and IPhone - no USB C which unfortunately my Samsung Note 8 uses.Speaking of which - for anyone with a similar sized phone, it holds mine extremely snug; I would dare say that it wouldn't come out even if I took the bike off roading. Very pleased with this purchase!

Seems good
I received it yesterday and fitted it on the bike. Fit is good phone feels to be safe as the spring that holds it is strong. On the downside, the seller should give a usb type c option and not just micro usb and Iphone plug. I have a Samsung S10 and the provided charging cable doesnt fit my phone

Fits my Galaxy S21 Ultra
No brainer for using the BMW motorrad app with my phone as the GPS - map on the phone, directions on the bike's TFT.Can control phone GPS and music from the handlebars.Fitted easily and firmly into BMW GPS bracket and ain't budging.Fits my Galaxy S21 Ultra firmly - the spring is surprisingly robust - I'm not worried about the phone getting off the ride.Had to buy a separate USB-C cable (I would have done this anyway as bundled cables are usually rubbish).A purchase I am really glad I made.

Tight fit but in a good way
This holds my iPhone 8 in a Mous case really tightly onto the GPS mount on my BMW F900XR. When I say tight, I'm talking duck's backside tight, so I never need worry about it coming astray. Having the phone mounted there is brilliant because the BMW Connected GPS app uses the phone to complement the information given on the bike's big TFT display. Overall it's really good.I have seen this a bit cheaper elsewhere, but for the convenience of an Amazon purchase I'm happy enough with what I paid.

Better than garmin
Had a garmin nav 6 on my r1250gs and hated it. In fact every time I own a sat nav I say never again. I use the iPhone and google maps in the car and it’s so easy to use and is way more accurate. So when I saw this adapter for the garmin cradle I sold my old nav for £360 and bought this adapter for next to nothing. Well made and fits perfectly. The usb cable is a bit long so I bought an sks 100mm cable and it’s a nice tidy look now. There is also an extra usb slot so you could charge a GoPro from it.
