The Body Rider XRB271 is a Great Exercise Tool for me.
I started out around 215 pounds and I am down to 190 in less than 2 months and I contribute it to the Body Rider. I ride for 20 minutes, get up and walk for about 2 minutes, then back on it for another 20 minutes, walk for 2 minutes, and ride it again for 20 minutes to complete an hour of riding. I do this first thing in the morning and later in the afternoon/evening and I watch my programs on television while I am riding. It is very quite, with tension control and I can easily fold it up and store it out of the way, or carry it to my office and ride while I am "working". I was very skepticle of ordering this bike because I was afraid it would be flimsy, but it is very sturdy and well-built. My one and only complaint is that the seat is too hard. I place a folded bath towel on the seat and it helps tremendously. The controls work great and I mainly use the timer, which you can lock onto just the timer and not have it flash the other screens. (while the readout is on the timer, just push the button again and it should display the timer until you are done or push it again). This is a great, inexpensive work out bike that can be put away with ease. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic little Bike!!!!
I love this bike! I have wanting to get back in shape for some time. I have used it now for a little over a month and I have lost 10 pounds! Of course I had to change my diet a bit and incorporate other exercises as well , but this bike has been my motivator for sure. It is super easy to build and has up to eight settings and you won't believe how hard each level gets! You will sweat! And to have the monitor/ timer is so helpful. You can track of how many miles, how long you have been exercising and how many calories you are burning! It's super easy to fold up and put way as well , which I have yet to do since seeing it out keeps me moving. Great price to... You can't beat it!

Okay but not great for long workouts
Pros: It was very easy to put together and all the parts and tools needed were included. Packaged very well also. Seems well made for the price.Cons: A little bit unsteady when getting off it--I had to put a step stool next to it to get on and off and I have to hold on to the wall to remain steady while dismounting. I'm 5'7" so I'm not really short but the bike feels almost too tall for me, even with the seat on the lowest setting. Also the seat is extremely hard. It hurt right away so I could barely do 5 minutes. I hope that will get better. I did put a gel cover on it and that helped a little. It also doesn't feel ergonomically correct in the way the seat is placed. I don't know how else to explain that but it feels like you're high up but too far back.I only bought it to move my legs for a few minutes every day because I have RA and if I don't get them moving enough, I get a lot of pain. It's too hard to sit on for me to get a long or good workout though. I wish I liked it better :(

What this is not....
First of all, this is a totally excellent value and a wonderful exercise bike. Many of you reading this you might be wondering what this thing lacks that a $2,000 bike (like my brother's Keiser) has. Well, there is one important(?) thing: a flywheel. Expensive bikes like the Keiser have a massive flywheel that smooths out the pedaling motion and mimics the kind of inertia you'd experience on a bicycle. This does have a flywheel but it is small and the result is that your legs don't 'coast' over the top and bottom of the strokes as easily. This is probably *better* exercise but I find it a bit less comfortable. So 4 stars compared to a $2000 bike. Certainly 5 stars as a stand-alone rating. What the bike is:-Extremely well made and a surprising value.-Really whisper quiet. Certainly as quiet as the aforementioned Keiser.-Wonderfully light weight. I like to move it outside for workouts.-Easy controls and monitors that work well.-I find the seat just fine (some reviews dink it for the seat). What it is not:-Heavy. That's the plus side of a small flywheel. The Keiser could moor a boat if it were sitting on a dock.-Fancy. No water bottle or book holder though a standard bottle does rest nicely on the frame between your legs.-A super-smooth cruising feeling like bikes with heavy flywheels. Hey. Its 100 bucks.-Expensive. If you find its not your thing after a few months it won't be so painful to ditch.Great bike. Would recommend

It's the seat...
The bike is solid, let me start there. The framework is great, especially for a small folding bike. I weigh 275 pounds, and it holds up just fine when I ride it. Unfortunately there are some major downsides to this, one of them being the seat. As if it was molded from concrete, the seat is brutally uncomfortable. If you can find a way to change out the seat, please do...and tell me. I still haven't figured out a good way to make this thing comfortable. There's also a height issue, I'm 5'7" and have to adjust the bike all the way down in order to get a comfortable ride. If you are shorter than me, you're probably not going to be very comfortable riding this thing. Here are some positives, the peddles are solid and stick really well when you're riding the bike. I don't find myself slipping off the peddles ever, something that can really ruin a solid workout. Also the bike is SUPER QUIET, and that's awesome. If you want to get a good workout and don't want to bother anyone else, this bike does that in spades. It's also very compact, doesn't take up a lot of space and it is great to use in front of a television. Get something comfortable to sit on, and you can peddle away for hours and hours.

It doesn't matter how much this cost, do not ...
It doesn't matter how much this cost, do not buy it. The pedals are so close together that you might as well be riding a tricycle!
