This book compliments calligraphy lesson books. I purchased this for my adult daughter, and she says there is plenty of practice Space!

Exactly as described, has 3 different types of lines for different writing styles. I love it! I used to love calligraphy when I first learned it in high school. My Grandfather bought me my first calligraphy set because he saw how much I loved it. I stopped practicing because someone stole my set and supplies, and I never got them replaced. I recently got back into it when I have the time, and am falling in love with it all over again. It’s been a while, so I definitely need the practice, and with this book, I can practice and perfect my style!

I’m new to lettering, very new so I was surprised to see the books pages divided into 3 different styles of guides. Regular, slanted, and dotted. I’m not sure what all they’re used for but you probably are! The printing quality of the lines and dots is nice, there is no fading. This is a book I only will buy once. I’m using Tombow markers and the cheapest thing to do is photocopy the pages into HP 32 PREMIER printer paper. I did my homework and this appears to be the only copy paper suited for lettering (it doesn’t damage the markers). I bought a ream of 500 and it’ll last me a long long time. Just a heads up for those who need a lot more paper and practice!

I bought this book alongside the Pretty Simple Lettering for additional practice. It has been great in improving my skills and my titles in my scrapbooking are looking wonderful! My only improvement would be to make it spiral bound so that the pages on the left would lie flat.

Writing doesn't bleed thru to the back or mark the next page. Still slightly visable on back when written on but no so much the reverse sides can't be used for practice. Just wish it had a harder cover and more pages.

This paper is really thin, the ink i was using bled through several pages. It made a mess. Not good for actual Caligraphy pen & ink tools but if you were doing the cheater monolingual Caligraphy with a regular ballpoint pen it would be good for that.

Gives several pages each of 3 different styles. Angled, straight with middle dotted lines and full dotted pages. Have used my pointed nibs with ink yet so unsure about leaking through. Just what I was looking for to practice

This paper bleeds through so I found it helpful to tear out a sheet and use it with an underlay to conserve my sheets and protect my surface.

Came very quick this is ideal for practice using knib pens and holding pens in different angles ideal for both beginers and people to try out different ways

zeer slechte kwaliteit papier en totaal niet geschikt voor kalligrafie

Not good quality for dip pen inks as there is a lot of bleeding. Not good for nib writings.
