This is a medium size, not too heavy, nice shape. The edges are a bit sharp. Did a nice job of aerating one half bottle of red wine. The glass was soft and crumbly, so cleaning might be a problem. Mine had a chip in the edge, so I returned it. Would not buy again, but it is decent for the price.Customer service: wanted my to send a photograph of the chip. While I sort of understand this is to slow ppl down, I personally find it tedious. It's difficult to photograph a crack in glass. Most people aren't going to make up a story about a crack in the glass, and, after all, the crack was there when it was shipped--they could have taken the photo. Then again, maybe it's the only way.

I got this wine decanter for my parents and they loved it. I had them test it out in many ways to see if it actually works. I gave them two glasses of wine, one decantered and one regular from the bottle, they did not know which was which; their preference was the decantered one, they said it had a better flavor than the regular. This test was done on multiple types of wine with different values. In fact when offered the regular glass after comparing the two they only wanted the one from the glass decanter. It is stylish and does not take up much room. I would suggest getting something like this. One thing to add tho, it would be nice to have some type of cork for the decanter, so the wine isn't sitting out for a few days

Feels heavy, in a good way. We have switched to a particular boxed wine for most occasions because of the taste and ease of recycling compared to glass. That being said, nobody likes serving wine out of a box, even if the taste is better. This is a perfect solution. This decanter feels nice, classy, and does help improve the taste of an otherwise delicious red blend that we regularly drink. Would buy again...

I liked the way it looked at first but I honestly thought it was just going to be a fancy bottle for the wine. Come to find out it made the wine taste smooth idk like the wine being pored in the bottle gave it oxygen or something and made the regular wine taste a whole lot better! I don’t really drink wine my wife does but I might start drinking more wine now.

Better than expected. The glass is very thick. I didn't expect it to be so thick, I'm glad that it is, I was worried it would be very thin and fragile. This is very nice quality glass.The shape of the decanter is beautiful and looks great in our china cabinet. I have not poured any wine into it yet, but quality and style is very nice.

Pretty. Works well. But there is a bubble in the glass. Late Christmas gift and too late to exchange

Very nice clean decanter - holds wines very well. It has worked great today for a dry red I will be serving. Simple in design yet elegant. It came in perfect condition without damage or flaws. It will allow me to serve a wine blindly to dinner guests for tastings or simply serve as a nice container as needed.

It's great - delivered in a well wrapped package and it can both hold and pour wine as advertised. That said, it's smaller than expected - if you're decanting a 750ml bottle for friends, go with the size up, this is more a carafe/500ml piece.
