Finally, an actual extra firm hold hairspray.
My friends & I love this true firm hold spray. We had been trying to find a replacement for Kenra Platinum #26, since they changed the formula to a lighter hold. This Kevin Murphy Session Spray is an extra fine spray providing good volume and style support and final finish holding, with no flaking. The pleasant fragrance is very, very light, and not noticeable after drying. Doesn't clash with personal fragrance. I will buy again.

I love this hair spray!
I use this hair spray every day. It's gentle on my hair as far as chemical content and definitely holds the hair well. The scent doesn't overwhelm. It's easy to brush out and doesn't dry my hair like others will. I think the large can is being discontinued by Murphy and reduced to 11 oz. but not positive.

Pleasant smell for hair product.
Like the smell and quality but it is expensive and a cheaper product could provide similar results based on my experience.

Works without gluing your hair and does protect against humidity
It is pricey. I have never paid such a price for my hairspray. But, this one takes less of it to achieve control and it truly does help keep down the frizz during the summer months! I have always bought two sprays...one for hold and the other for humidity control. I really don't think it very necessary to do that since I use this hairspray. It works, and so I "spring for it". My hair is very difficult, and when I find a product that helps, I am so grateful.
