Worked better than "kosher salt crystals" for homemade pretzels
The title says it all. Don't know why but these salt crystals proved superior to supermarket purchased "kosher salt" when making homemade pretzels. Good salty taste and enjoyed by the family and neighbors. If you are going to put in all the work into making your own pretzels it is nice to have them come out the way you desire. Recommended highly although a bit expensive for "salt".

Great texture
This is the good stuff- white (crispy) salt - not like kosher salt (hard & solid). Used it on soft pretzels & it tastes great and has good texture. I wish there was more for the price, but it will last for many batches. So, it's all good.

Genuine Pretzel Salt - like you get on a Soft Pretzel
There are some salts being advertised as Pretzel Salt that are definitely NOT. I researched online what is specific about the salt on a pretzel, and it is generally a soft, compressed salt, not just grains of regular coarse ground salt. I use these on the frozen soft pretzels we buy, when the included packages of salt run out. (It's hard to get the salt to stick to a moistened frozen soft pretzel, so a lot of it gets wasted in the attempt to shake some on them.) This is the same real pretzel salt they include with the pretzels from the store. It's a little pricey, but nothing else could replace it for the genuine pretzel taste. I've tried other kinds of ground salt, and they don't even come close.

Only Authentic Pretzel Salt
This salt is the only one I have found that holds its shape and flavor, light crunch. I'm a saltaholic, and this salt can't be beat for pretzels and pretzel rolls, bagels. That is, unless you have access to Snyder's Pretzels' supplier. You won't regret your purchase.

Perfect for store pretzels that don’t come with enough salt
Purchased this for the store bought pretzel bites that come with a tiny packet of salt. We’ve used about 2 oz for the two boxes we’ve gone though the last couple of weeks. For how sparsely we use this, I would say the price is worth it. However, from reading other comments, the price may be a little high compared to other pretzel salts. I would still purchase again though

Great teaste
Was a little disappointed on the size and the price. However I guess everything is getting expensive. Good taste. Not sure I would buy again just because of pricing.

Must have for Pretzel "A" Game!
I didn't really understand the need for pretzel salt at first but once I starting using this coupled with some food grade lye there is no going back. It's a small package as is stated but a little goes a long way. I've made about 100 full size Bavarian pretzels so far and still have 1/2 package. Once my pretzels come out of the lye bath I place on cooling rack and salt to both let the excess lye water drip off and collect the unused salt afterwards. This stuff really sticks on well and taste delicious. Good luck!
