Easy to install, most affordable top down bottom up blinds out there
I bought my first one of these back in 2014, and I've been slowly buying more over the years. Now that I'm stuck at home due to a stay home order, I've just done 4 more of these. Installation is super simple, just 4 screws into the top of the window frame and snap in place. Never had an issue with the top down, bottom up function. Great for letting light in while maintaining privacy.I've seen some reviews complain about the blinds being uneven. These move up and down using friction, and if you don't pull up/down directly in the middle, they will get crooked, But it is super easy to straighten them. Just grab both sides, and adjust one side up/down until they're even.Negatives- The instructions tell you to put the mounts 3-4" inches from the end. This will not work due to the internal mechanisms blocking the mount. You need to put the mounts a minimum of 5" from the ends. Not sure why they don't update the instructions. It's been at least 6 years guys!- There are two plastic pieces that come with the blinds that aren't mentioned anywhere in the instruction. No idea what they're for or how to use them. I suspect it has something to do with external installation (I always mount inside the frame).- Over time, the blinds have darkened. I suspect this is just dirt/dust over time, I have tried vacuuming them, but it makes no difference. It could also be the material color has changed over time. Keep that in mind if you're like me and slowly adding these to your windows as you can afford it. You will notice the difference in shade if they're near each other.

Very very poor quality
Do not buy these!! Or even buy anything from this seller for that matter. Buying these shades has been the worst experience I’ve ever had on Amazon. I tried contacting the seller... no response. I tried contacting Amazon and was essentially told sorry they can’t help me. So not only am I stuck with three broken shades hanging in my windows, the seller won’t reply and Amazon customer service basically told me to get lost. It’s been an amazing experience. Let me tell you. I’ve been a long time Amazon customer. And this is seriously making me rethink my Amazon purchases.Previous review: They are super crooked and look a little ghetto. But if you just don’t pay attention to how crooked they hang, then they are ok. It looks like the cords inside the shades aren’t being measured and installed at the correct length. So it’s causing them to hang all jankety.Update: after a short time of gentle use, two shades have completely broken. And the third shade is even more crooked. These are absolutely horrible.

Faulty instructions create more work
I am furious. I just finished installing the brackets to hang this product, and I followed the installation instructions exactly ("install brackets 3-4" from each end of where the shade will be installed"). As a result, the blind cannot be installed, because the brackets are lined up with the inner hardware of the headrail that controls the cords within the blinds. Do not, I repeat, do not install brackets before checking to see whether the headrail hardware will interfere with the bracket grips. Certainly, I will still be able to use the product, but not I will have to remove the brackets, the cheap screws included will almost certainly be stripped, and I will have to repair the wood window frame where I installed originally. I don't think it is asking too much for the instructions to be helpful rather than providing obstacles to an "easy installation."

EZ-Glide Top Down Bottom Up Cordless Blinds
These things work well, you just have to realize that the dimensions are exact, so they won't necessarily fit inside window frames which are normally half an inch off. When opening/closing you also really need to pull this down in the middle, or use two hands to lower/raise it, otherwise it'll get crooked and take you some wiggling to get it back even.

Easy to adapt
I bought 3 units (30'x64') to install them inside 29' inches windows frames.I cut them by one side (1') with my miter saw (24 Tooth general purpose blade), easy and clean cut, and they work perfect. More tooth in the blade will probably give you a better cut but, believe me, nobody notice they have been cut (my wife is very picky).Remove the plastic peaces in the side end you are going to cut and check to pull the metal bar that is inside away from the cutting line, if you can't because it is too long cut the whole thing, including the metal bar, at the same time. After the cutting you may can find some very small lose threads at the fabric edge, take your scissors and cut them. Fabric didn't tear or rip at all, just be careful and steady.I used a double rubber band in the side I was cutting to keep the shade together. You don't need to remove or take apart any mechanism to cut this shades. If need to cut more than 1' I would recommend to cut them by both sides.
