This is the best one yet. I have the original and a dot also. I have paired this with a Panasonic head set and I listen to it outside on the porch or patio along with the remote. Both work well and it is nice to control the content where ever you are around the house. The sound with the headphones is phenomenal and the stereo separation is great. I bought two of these for friends and they love it.

I'm sorry, but I read your book completely several times before hooking up my new ECHO. Useless. Many hours on the phone with poor English speakers that had no idea what they were doing. Quite a few tears. To the cable company and back again. Finally I called my computer man that hooked it up in 5 minutes. After this, I re-read your book, & it still had no useful information.

Not all it's cracked up to be.. Good quality, well made, responsive but I find Alexa's length and breadth of knowledge to be limited. If you are looking for a grocery list keeper, she's great, but as an immediate source of info, forget it.

This is a perfect beginners book. I recommend it without any reservation. I like to see mr. Scott to write a book on the alexa programming kit.One thing i would like to see is Amazon making Alexa more conversational. Alexa needs more AI training.

It's a nice product if you can set it up. I asked for chat help which didn't help at all nor do I have wifi or smart phones. So why did I purchase it? I guess I'm a wild and crazy guy....probably a little stupid too for buying this.

Amazon Echo is great bu the users guide leaves a little to be desired. Vague and incomplete instructions leave the user in the dark.

Don't waste your money. Nothing new here. You get more info and set up videos at alexa.amazon.com or YouTube.com

Useless.this book is of no use whatsoever unless you live in America. Example, voice training is not yet available in the UK and you call amazon and they eventually admit voice not here in Uk so why sell a book saying it’s fully updated but not say for here in the Ukraine

Great little book for those of us who cannot recall every instruction given. Make the most of a great gadget.

The content is fairly basic but still useful for an Echo novice like me. There are grammatical and content errors throughout the book (i.e. words missing!) and there are what would obviously be 'links' to further information/ detail online which are not available to purchasers of the book.It served a purpose but would I buy it again knowing the above ...... no.

OK but LOTS of annoying 'typo' errors in the text, which one would not expect in a published book.... Did anyone actually proof read this prior to publication?

Not much of a User Guide - More of a sales pitch and catalogue for all the Alexa devices available - even with prices! This is followed by a little useful information. Should be free and sponsered by Amazon. Waste of money.

Bought as a birthday Present for my husband, unfortunately the grandchildren hijack it when they come round, even my 2 year old granddaughter talks to Alexa!!

I know it's only £2.40 but not even worth that unless, of course, you have absolutely no idea how to use an Echo. I was looking for something more but it just covers the very, very basic operation and set up.

I am pleased with the purchase, which fills in a few details. which I did not know. It is always good to have the official line and the advice seems sound. Thank you Amazon, for one of your own.

If you live in the UK don’t buy it! Many of the features don’t work. They should!

She is not fullproof and I sometimes get cross with her. But I'm glad that we own Alexa.

Echo so straight forward to use book not really need, though worth a read

I love the Amozon Echo. It looks nice and the sound from it is excellent. I use it to play music and I do quizzes and Alexa is full of usefully information.

Interesting book, shame that it was written for an American readership, hence only four stars.
