Cordoba Mini O Travel Acoustic Nylon String Guitar With Cordoba Gig Bag

Nice to play as a traveling guitar.. sounds more like a ukulele though. But I bought it to travel and practice. For that.. it does the job.

I loved the look of the O mini but not the sound. I ended up returning for the M and love that one. The gig bag is nice quality but a tight squeeze. I’ve included some pictures to provide the scale size of the guitar mini. One is next to my Kala Uke and the other next to my travel Takamine.Do love the size.. practicing most days and that as the purpose for the purchase..

Love this guitar ! Took me a while to get us4f to the tuning , which is same as a capo on the 5ty fret if a full size guitar . But I happen to love songs by Patty Griffin and Fleet Foxes etc..who play somewhere between a uke and a guiatr sound . I have a uke and love it, but this has more depth and q bigger sound than you would expect. I'm not a finger style player but do finger pick with my chord hand . This guitar actually makes me want to explore more creative picking ! The size is just so very convenient! You can take it to the bar, on your bike , on a hike ,on a boat with a goat! HA! Seriously, I love this guitar and I have some serious guitars , but ,since this one arrived , I can't put it down !I'm on SoundCloud as susisouljourney if you want to hear a clip . This is a beautiful uke. It also sounds great. I have the guilele ce also. The ce with the spruce top has a little more snappy high end and tighter fifth and sixth string sound. The mini though has a fuller sound. High notes ring very clear with lots of sustain. The body resonates like crazy when you pluck a note. You will love the way the vibration feels on your chest. Build quality is flawless. Setup is perfect out of the box. Action is low even at the body. The neck is super wide. I feel it could be an eighth inch narrower, but the width is overall fine. You may have an issue if your hands are small. Cordoba has created a real hit. I don't think anyone will be disappointed with this uke. If you are a guitar player, the fret spacing will feel much better than a standard uke.

Arrived on time and was in pristine condition. No dents/scratches. Came in the never changing beautiful cordoba box and was as beautiful as ever. Great guitar for traveling, we usually play and sing during long car rides and during camping trips. Great gig and guitar to bring onto a plane with little to no fuss from the flight attendants. Great for women, it has a regular sized fret board but small body so easy to hold if youre not an expert I recommend.... did have to shave a little off the metal fret, only because it would slightly scratch me but we had an expert do it and it was like the flaw was never even there and I wouldnt even call that a flaw... great mini guitar with a regular fret board... love it.

Very nice travel guitar. As others mentioned the neck is definitely wide. First one that arrived had fret buzz, waiting for a replacement!

IT IS TUNED IN A UNLIKE STANDARD GUITARS AND HAS A UNIQUE SOUND. ITS SUPER LIGHT AND EASY TO TRANSPORT. I HAD QUESTIONS ABOUT TUNING AND CARING FOR THE GUITAR AND THE CORDOBA WEBSITE AND THE STAFF VIA PHONE ARE EXTREMELY HELPFUL! I RECOMMEND THIS GUITAR HIGHLY TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING SMALL WITH A RICH SOUND AND LOOK!

I love this little travel guitar! The sound is rich and clear. Normally I travel with my ukulele, now this gives me another option. I was concerned it would not have the volume or quality of sound, so I was absolutely delighted when I played it for the first time. This is a beautiful guitar, good quality, and one I will enjoy for years to come!

Everything is good, especially the sound and the beautiful ovangkol wood, top, back & side, very beautiful and it sounds close enough to a quality ukulele. The only surprise that caught me off guard was that the edges of the frets were very sharp. I had to spent almost 2 hours carefully filing them down. I hope Cordoba will take note of that and improve their quality control. To be fair, they are not the only one overlooking that. Years ago, l bought a brand new Taylor 110CE made in Mexico had the same problem. Recently I bought another Taylor 114E, the frets were fine, they must have fixed the problem. Come Cordoba! you can do it too. Overall, l just love this wonderful mini guitar, sound good and easy to carry around.

一言で表せば、バリトンウクレレの6弦バージョンです。ギタリストにアピールする販売戦略のためか、公式サイトではナイロン弦ギターに分類されていますが、同社のケースはバリトンウクレレと兼用です。ちなみにギタレレやその亜種は、これより一回り小さいテナーウクレレサイズのものが主流です。ギタレレの様でいて別のコンセプトであり、よりギタリストに最適化されています。・演奏生スケールは51cmで、フルサイズ(65cm)の4カポ相当です。一方、ギタレレのスケールは43cm、フルサイズの7カポ相当です。この3フレット分による左手の演奏性の差は、特にソロギターなどをやる際にはかなり大きいです。また51mmのナット幅は48mmのギタレレよりすこし広く、クラシックギターと同じ設定です。つまり指先の感触としてはギター(カポ付き)をほぼ再現していると言えます。ボディの大きさもあり、ふとももに乗せた時の弾き心地はギタレレ以上に良いです。・音色公式にはハイテンション弦を使ったレギュラーチューニングも可と謳われていますが、個人的にはこのボディサイズらしい音を活かしやすいADGCEAがオススメです。ナイロン弦では通常は使用されないピンブリッジですが、その方がブリッジ自体を小さくなり、面積の限られたトップ材をより鳴らすことができるそうです。またスケールの長さも助けてか5,6音弦の鳴りもよく、おまけで付いてるレベルではなく至って実用的です。ウクレレ的な軽さを残しつつ、そのまま音域が拡張されていると感じます。ただし高音弦も丸く鳴りやすく、ウクレレプレイヤーの好みは分かれるかもしれません。・最後にギタレレに興味がある、またはその演奏性や音色に満足できなかったギタリストに特にオススメです。値段からして当然ですが、やはり品質にムラがあるようなので取り寄せてでも店頭での購入をお勧めします。6弦バリトンウクレレというコンセプト自体はCordobaがオリジナルではないのですが、この価格帯で大きく売り出してきた事に、ジャンルを開拓しようというメーカーの野心が感じられますね。

I originally came across this model when on vacation and fell in love with the sound. Then bought a used one through amazon, it was in great condition, one very small defect on the back of the body that I could find. The Guitar had been last tune in E, standard tuning, when I received it. The strings that come with it are not meant to be used in standard E tuning (as described), but tuned it up to A Standard and it came alive! Great little travel guitar with a fantastic tone!

Arrived today, factory sealed. Top board had three (!!!) big cracks and few smaller cracks. It seems it should sound nice... but quality definitely 10x less than suggested by Amazon retail price. I cannot imagine that "perceived value" of this is higher than for example Almansa 401 (which made in Spain).According to Cordoba-Amazon postage label which Amazon didn't remove, it was in Amazon Canada storage location since November 2016, almost a year. Of course it will be cracked...UPDATE: I strictly believe it is not Amazon't fault. The wood has to be properly handled & stored & dried and etc., so that final product won't get few deep cracks in less than a year, especially considering excellent packaging including super durable water resistant gig bag.

Got a good deal on it but it wasn't listed as blemished. Arrived with a big crack down the middle where the glue joints come together on the body.
