Disappointed
My old ones, which I loved, were worn to bits so these were a replacement.What a disappointment.The build is much tighter and I did consider returning them, so uncomfortable were they. I persevered, though, and they have "given" a bit, enough to wear for short periods, but they are still harsh.Also they are in a matt finish and I cannot polish a shiny glow on them like the old ones, which I need when in best uniform.Strong - yes. Hard wearing - surely (the old ones did split at a crease but I doubt if these will). Smart - just. Comfortable - sadly, no.
