Go Fo It!
I played guitar a lot when I was a teenager and I am sad to say that I stopped playing for nearly 15 years. I neglected my guitars since then. My acoustics bridge popped off back in 2005 or so and my and my ignorant self at the time assumed it was broken for food. I held on to it still though. I recently decided that I should start playing again. I learned that this can be fixed. I called a local guitar shop and found that this would be a fix costing, at the minimum, $100 dollars. After searching the internet I found that I could do this myself possibly. I found this tool, the price was a steal and I figured, what's the worst that could happen?I need to say that I have ZERO experience fixing a guitar. I just looked up some videos on how to use similar tools, bought some tight bond and this tool and went for it. I am glad I did. This thing works very well for the price. I would strongly recommend trying this tool out. Just do your research and learn how to do it. There is something a lot more intimate by fixing something like this yourself and I appreciate my guitar even more. This tool did the job fantastically. I should have taken a before picture but I didn't. You can see the finished product though.

low price/quality ratio.
a "tool" like this is indispensable if you want to glue back the bridge of your guitar.it surprisingly did the job.medium quality.... low price/quality ratio.one of the two screws was bent and its guide bolt was misalligned....

Does what it is intended for
Great little clamp to repair a guitar bridge. I had no clue on what I was doing but watched a couple youtube videos and was able to repair my $100 Lyon (by Washburn) guitar. At first, the screws would not fit through my pin holes, I realized my guitar had smaller than standard pins, since I already had a bone kit (nut, saddle and pins) I drilled the holes slightly bigger and was able to use this tool and replace with the bone pins.I recommend using white carpenter's glue. I used gorilla glue, and although it worked great, the residue is nearly impossible to clean out.

For price I dident go wrong
Okay first off this is a great lil tool..I modified it with four larger washers. But that's it..worked for me just fine and as long as you have a lil knowledge about what your doing with it it will work for you too..

Easy to use
I was worried this thing wouldn't work but no complaints. It didn't even get stuck to the guitar when I glued it. I put a bit of olive oil on the screws that go through the holes just to be sure. Worked perfectly. Instead of buying three long reach clamps. this will do the job.

With a few minor mods, the product works great.
Works well for Martin style bridges as it has nearly the exact footprint. I drilled a dimple in the center to register the shop fox clamp quickly and to keep it from slipping around. I did the same to the small wooden wing cauls as well. I also added self-adhesive cork to the main area that comes in contact with the bridge. With a few minor mods, the product works great.

Worked perfectly
After my bridge lifted off I got a quote from 2 local luthier's and both were around $100. My $200 fender was not worth it but has sentimental value. Got this and it worked like a charm exactly as advertised. Removed old bridge. Cleaned, sanded, applied some hide glue. Clamped it for 24 hours and my guitar is good as new. I would definitely reccomend.

Gets it done.
Used to swap my bridge for a rosewood one. Clamp lines up great and the shims prevented any denting.
