The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser, Hydrating Makeup Remover, Supports Moisture Barrier

Okay, I bought this on a whim. I have pretty severe sebaceous hyperplasia. I have had chemical peels. I’ve had them burned off, frozen, I’ve used topical retin A from my dermatologist. It always rages back. I saw a review say this stuff shrinks them and makes them much less visible. I was put off by the price, but let’s face it, I’ve dropped a lot more than this.My first wash, I did not use anything to remove my make up. I wanted to see if this got rid of it by what was left when I used my toner. Initially, I thought this stuff would be greasy. IT IS NOT! It COMPLETELY MELTED MY MAKE UP AWAY! I have used it daily for about two weeks. It is unlike anything I have ever used. It leaves my face clean, but not dry. It isn’t oily either, like some make up removers that then require soap and water. I have purchased most of the face cleaners in Ulta. I have never, in my oily 57 years, used anything like this. The price point is amazing considering what it does. It even removed my waterproof mascara???? I don’t know what is in this, and frankly I do not care. It’s hot where I live, and my SH is not growing. My skin feels clean. It’s not dry. It’s not greasy. I write reviews only occasionally, but I want others who have struggled with oily skin issues for years to know there’s something out there for us. I can’t speak to dry skin, but it feels extremely gentle. Am I rid of my excess oil completely? No, but I have other solutions in my toolbox for that. I will do without other things to buy this again and again. I love other products from The Ordinary, but THIS one is the Holy Grail. I still have bumps from SH. However, they are almost flat, and much less noticeable. For my fellow sufferers out there, this helped me. They’re no longer the first thing I see when I look in the mirror. I don’t feel like people see them and wonder what the heck is on my face. Many thanks to The Ordinary for a decently priced, effective product that does what it says.

I’ve been using The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser for a few weeks now, and I’m really happy with how it performs. It goes on like a lightweight balm, then melts into an oil-like texture as you warm it up in your hands. It removes makeup (even mascara) really well without needing to scrub, and it rinses clean without leaving any greasy residue behind.My skin feels soft and hydrated afterward — not tight or dry like with some other cleansers. I have sensitive skin and haven’t had any irritation or breakouts since using it. It’s unscented, which I appreciate, and a little goes a long way, so the tube lasts longer than you’d expect.It’s simple, affordable, and does exactly what it claims. If you’re looking for a gentle everyday cleanser that also removes makeup, this is a great choice.

Love this cleanser. Easy to apply. Leaves skin soft and doesn’t dry the skin. I love all of Ordinary products because they work and are very affordable. But this product is fantastic. A few drops in your hand. Rub your hands together and it becomes like an oil. Apply to your face and neck it will remove makeup or just morning and night cleansing. A little goes a long way.

Love this stuff, I can't say enough good about it! I have large pores and sensitive skin. This stuff 3 times a week makes a huge difference with minimizing pores and improving skin texture. I am never without it!

This product was recommended to me as a gentle cleanser and I must say that I am very surprised. I note use it as the first step in my routine and I have seen improvements in just two days. Is very moisturizing and leaves my skin soft after rinsing it off, I also noticed my skin doesn’t get as dry as fast as when I use this first. The size or amount of product is very little but you don’t need much. It’s the perfect size for travel out of you want to test the product out first-a little goes a long way. It’s a good value for the price. The quality is…decent I definitely give it five stars in the lack of fragrance, easy to apply effectiveness. It is a little stickier than I like, so I use a little more than recommended to get the glide that I am comfortable with when managing my face. I am going to purchase the larger product soon. This is now a fav.

I love that this cleanser is gentle and does not hurt my skin or make me break out. It did not however remove my mascara. I don’t wear waterproof so it should be fairly easy to remove however, this doesn’t do the job. I’m disappointed that the ordinary is usually great.
