I purchased this tripod as an ultralight-as-possible tripod that could give me a little bit of height during backpacking trips. My backpacking camera is significantly lighter than my normal camera, so I only need a tripod that can hold a couple pounds.The tripod is advertised at approximately 13.7 ounces. According to my scale, the weight of the tripod I received is 14.8 ounces. Over an ounce more.However, the top section of each leg is coated with a thick rubber grip. Certainly nice to hold onto, but the entire purpose (for me) for a tripod like this is to carry something as light as possible. Each rubber grip weighs approximately 1 ounce (!). Removing all 3 grips dropped the weight by approximately 3 ounces. The upper section of tripod leg under the grip is chrome, just like the rest of the legs are when extended. Visually, the tripod is still appealing.The real weight saver of this tripod is the ballhead. It is absolutely the minimal functionality you could need in a ballhead. Other tripods of similar design seem to have more convoluted ballhead mechanisms that add weight. While many of those tripods are lower in weight, none of them include rubber grips on the legs. Removing the rubber grips make this tripod extremely light.This tripod also gets the lowest of any other tripods of similar design. There is a twist mechanism below the ballhead that allows you to decide how wide you want the legs to get. This is pretty cool -- though the difference is admittedly minimal. This tripod also gets the highest of any other tripods of similar design -- though the difference here is also admittedly minimal.Like other tripods of this design, the legs lock, though it's difficult to understand the mechanism without removing the rubber grips and revealing the trick. Twist the legs and they will eventually lock. Continue twisting them in the same direction to unlock them.The tripod comes with a bluetooth remote shutter for your mobile phone. It is a traditional mobile phone holder that uses springs to grip the mobile phone once two prongs are extended. The cool thing is, when packing it away, the grips fold down. The whole mechanism collapses to something the size of a zippo.Of the tripods I purchased, I think this is the winner. The only negatives are 1) the legs don't lock open -- whereas other tripods of similar design can lock their legs open, and 2) no bubble level. Small sacrifices to make for the weight savings and simplicity, I think. For the price, it is a 5-star item.

I was trying to find a lightweight tripod that I could use to take my own photos for my Instagram. So glad I found this model! It is well made, has a comfortable grip and is easy to use. The remote was quick to pair and worked perfectly. I love that you can swivel in more unique directions than a standard tripod. It’s also low enough to the ground to get that signature “Bratz feet ” look lol.My only con to this is that the legs are not the sturdiest ever, I fear the legs giving me issues locking properly in the future, and it’s easy to topple over if it gets unbalanced so be careful. Overall I am very satisfied with this tripod though !

Just what I was looking for. Using for my iPhone. Remote is super easy to set up and use. Tripod is just the right size. The only issue so far was retracting the tripod legs. Sometimes they stick and you have to play with them, twisting back and forth until they will go back in. Other than that, I think I will love this tripod.

I've had this stand for at least over a year and this is going to be my raw and honest review...GET IT! JUST GET IT! The legs are still holding up, stiff and sturdy like Day 1! I vlog a lot, as-well-as stream and not only do I use this tripod for my camera but I use it as a stand for my DIY light set up and it holds my Clamp light securely while I stream! As a vlogger, I simply keep the legs together and use it as a gimble and the footage is awesome. A and B Rolls are smooth with this especially with the new motion sensors in phones these days. You get both a gimble and a stand in one product.The feet are also made of a pretty good rubber material. My gaming desk has a very smooth surface with almost no gripping at all but the feet on this tripod holds up so well. Again, my lights are DIY with this tripod as a stand and I'm loving it!I highly recommend this stand!!!

It’s a good tripod but as a teacher during distance learning I’ve used it a lot in a short amount of time and now the phone holder keeps popping off, causing my phone to fall (thankfully I had a screen protector on which cracked). Not very durable for long term use.

This tripod is easy to use, very sturdy, and adjustable; it can be used for vacation or travel. The only things that would have made this product better would have been a caring case. I am very impressed with the quality of this product. The price is very reasonable for the quality of this tripod. Not only is this very compact which is great for travel and vacation, but it also extends to a very good length which is very handy when using for a selfie or group pictures. It has a remote and GoPro adapters to support quickly installation of the DSLR and GoPro Action Cameras. This tripod is so much more sturdy than those cheaply made selfie sticks. Definitely worth the price and I would highly recommend.

I was traveling and lost the phone handle part of the tripod. So for my pictures on Balinese beach front I had to scotch tape my phone to the tripod, which, as you can imagine, wasn’t that great. So once I got back to the states I wrote an email to theIr customer service and asked if I could perhaps buy the phone handle part from them as it was my fault that I lost it. They were kind enough to send me this part for free. That’s a great customer in my books. Recommend it.

Bought this for our trip to Alaska next year. I wanted something that would hold our iPhones (8 and 11, lightweight, compact, easy to use, to assemble / disassemble, capture us in scenic pictures without asking someone to take our picture. Tested it recently on a camping, hiking trip in the NC mountains. It met all our needs! This cellphone tripod covered it all. Love it so far.
