Love it
I love my teeter! Have used it nearly every day for the last year. My back troubles are significantly less. Assembly took a while and I needed a third hand at times. I highly reco this inversion table if you suffer from back pain.

It gives relief, but...
I just used my Teeter for the 25th time in 41 days. So far, I am very happy with this device. When I purchased it, I did so with the understanding that this inversion table, like all inversion tables, is not a cure. It provides welcome relief to compressed vertibrae; this relief is temporary. With this knowledge I spent my money, as well as between 60 and 90 minutes carefully assembling it. The process of assembly, while time consuming, was not a problem. I've spent more time putting together a component hi-fi system. Careful, deliberate effort to assemble my Teeter paid off. No parts were missing, diligent attention paid to the instructions made the process flow smoothly. Anybody complaining about having to assemble it is, well, impatient to say the least, and probably expecting much more out of the device than it can deliver. While assembling it, I was impressed with the quality of the build. The steel tubing has a satisfying "heft" that instills faith that the finished product will not fold like a cheap bicycle with use. One reason I chose the LX9 was reviewers' pictures of other inversion tables showing some pretty shoddy-looking welds; another reason is that other tables looked like they were made like folding lawn furniture. Once assembled, the LX9 is very sturdy. I have not the slightest concern for my safety while using it.I have read reviews in which the complaint was voiced that the ankle restraints "hurt" and were painful. Perhaps this could be true, but one would have to use them improperly. Take your time to be sure the foot rest is adjusted properly and that your feet are positioned properly. If one finds the restraints painful, play around with your positioning. I can inflict great pain on my feet and ankles if I do not use the restraints correctly."Playing" around is perhaps a cavalier way of saying that one must experiment, trying different adjustments. While the assembly process is straight forward, there are adjustments to be made based on the individual's physical, eh, parameters. For example, the user's height adjustment is not an unbreakable rule. I am 69 inches tall, but I learned that setting the table's height adjustment for a 74 inch individual moves my center of gravity closer to the balance point of the table. I can now control my resting angle with simple arm movements, just like in the Teeter videos. All in all, the LX9 seems to be a fine device, and well worth the investment. I do reserve the right to change my opinion as time goes by, since I am still new to this. So far, however, every time I use my LX9, I come away feeling better for the experience.

Why...
Doesn't fit all teeter that use the acupressure balls. Make sure to research before buying to see if it fits yours.

Great
This worked like magic. Solid build, comfortable, felt safe. Pricier than other models but well worth it.

Does it work
Yes! Really stretching your back, easy to install after finding the you tube video! We have it out for a couple of years, and it as held up.

Uncomfortable to use, bad design
My posture restore package arrived today.Your table must be a Teeter Fitspine (not a Hang-ups). I used it with my LX9. It installs easily with the plastic wing-nuts that install like the acupressure nodes. Note the documentation that several install options exist. There is a narrow and wide end of each pad, pay attention to suggested orientation. These are a softer foam, like a dense foam rubber. Now for my review based on my body. I don’t like the “Wedgie” like feeling when I initially back up to the table. The center board between the shoulder blades is not a relaxing feeling. Imagine laying with a 2x4 board centered down your body below you.

A Must Have for Your Teeter
I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of stretching and help this provided on the Teeter inversion table. With the table at a 60-80 degree tilt, it really helps with stretching and alignment. There is nothing uncomfortable about the experience, and you don't even realize it is there. The following day; however, you can feel the difference that you don't necessarily feel without it. After knowing how this improved my experience with the table, I would recommend this little addition to enhance the back alignment and stretching experience.
