As an eye physician who loves EDC (every day carry) items that really reduce the number of things in my pocket (which I am constantly misplacing all over the office), I really appreciate- nay, LOVE- this pen.Before I get to the pen, actually, let me mention the customer service. One of the three pens I received had a busted LED light that only flickered at best when I turned it on. I mentioned this to the sellers and they immediately sent me a brand new PACK of pens and another extra pen. Customer service = SIX stars!Now to the pen… I used to do a lot of writing in the charts but now I only do a bit of writing and a bit of ‘clicking’ on an iPad or touch PC now that my charts are digitized on an electronic health record. So for years I’ve been looking for a quality product that writes well on paper and has a good, durable stylus. I’ve order a number of different products and most of them fail in the writing department- just a cheap ballpoint and the ink drags.This Glovion pen writes -beautifully-. It is an absolute pleasure to write with, it just glides along the paper. Best multi-purpose pen I have ever written with, hands down.The stylus is also quality, but I cannot speak to the durability of it as I have only used it for a few weeks.And now, the LED light… I was looking for a pen with a bright enough light because I check pupil response all the time (it’s part of a routine eye exam and is important in detecting a number of different neurological conditions). I have to hold it a few inches away from the patient’s eye, but that’s fine. It works and is definitely serviceable to help me in this aspect of the physical exam.I know the light wasn’t designed for this purpose but rather to illuminate the writing surface; and as someone whose vision in dim lighting is getting noticeably weaker (due to my age), this pen absolutely pours a light onto the paper and makes everything easily visible in dim conditions.Even the form factor is comfortable; not too skinny and not too thick. So there you have it- there is zero reason not to purchase this pen. I have found my new go-to pen/pen company. I’m gonna throw everything else away!

Rcvd. in reasonable time. Pens were exactly as advertised. They have a good, solid feel to them and write smoothly. I really like the red led as it is plenty bright for its purpose without being glaringly bright like most of the white led pens available on the market these days. Had previously bought the "pilot's pen" available on Amazon. They have a similar feel to them, but the batteries on every pen I purchased did not last. On the first use, the led light in the tip of the pens started fading almost immediately. These pens, so far, have kept a reasonable amount of steady light. I use them daily, or rather nightly, for writing in a dark area and the light is just the right level brightness that I would choose even if they had a dimmer function built in. I have even used them for a flashlight on midnight bathroom trips so that I did not have to disturb my wife by turning on the bedside lamp. The only thing I have negative to say about them is that the cap that goes on the end with the stylus can easily be lost, as it does not really snap on and off, but the cap itself is not vital to the function of these pens. I would definitely still recommend these to anyone that has the need for a useful, unobtrusive light for either writing or navigating a dark house.

This pen writes great. For our needs- writing in a dim room especially on the night shift this is great. Really helps us aee what we're doing abd what we're writing. The benefits are the stylus. We sign tablets and occasionally use our phones so this is perfect for our job.

This pen is perfect for when I sit in a darkened theater to critique a performance. Concerned that even this small light would disturb people around me, I quickly discovered that I could move fingers around the light and still see my page. The beauty of this pen is that it can also be used without the light. I am very fussy about pens - this has a good weight, easy to hold, no ink "blebbing" while writing and doesn't smudge! I love having three pens - so that I have back ups for mid-performance issues, and that it comes with extra ink cartridges and batteries. An amazing value, I plan to buy more for back up and other projects. Highly recommend - and you can buy it in your pajamas!

Good pen, but be advised the light is bright. Which is a benefit if you are working alone, but could be distracting to others working in the dark, or sleeping. Nice they include refills too.

I even accidentally washed and dried the pen in the laundry and it still works fine and didn’t explode. LED still works and everything I’d give 10 stars if I could I love these pens

Every EMT I have given 1 of these to at first says ... pen we dont need no stinkin pen... we have E-PCR's (computer reports). Then about a week later ...... I get a txt or a call to say thanks and tell me how bad ass this pen is.

I ordered 1 3pc pack of red tip and 1 3-pc pack of white tip pens as a gift for my pilot husband. The pens really lived up to my expectations. Slick design, feels good to the touch, comes with refills. They are made of good quality material and don't look cheap at all. For the kind of work my husband does, the red light pen is perfect for when he has to do night time flying! I did receive 1 defective pen that wouldn't light up. Tony from Glovion was amazing! I received a reply right away and a replacement pack was sent without a minute to spare. I must say that i have never received such great customer service anywhere else. Tony deserves 5 stars! He even sent me a personalized card! Very happy customer here and i will buy again in the future!

As a mariner who works on ships, this product is perfect to jot down log book notes or refer to vital manoeuvring information in the darkness of the ship’s bridge when navigating. It serves a dual function of a pen and a mini flashlight which makes it a perfect tool to have.The product is great and the service from vendor was excellent.

Use this pen often at night when needing to leave a message.Also find it helpful during the night when remembering something I need to do the next day. Can write myself a note without the need to put a light on and disturb my husband, pen has such a gentle glow, even less than my smart phone.

Its a b pen and it is used for writing with an added addition of a led light at the end. The light is quite bright which can be distracting and having to double click to activate it.
