Almost Perfect
Love it...only thing is the top hole needs to be a little bigger to get plant food inside and such...other than that it pours perfectly top on or off...and it's light weight to carry and holds a typical amount of water to get all the plants taken care of. And it's cute and somewhat small.

Exactly what I needed!
EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED!!!! The water flows like an absolute dream - very gentle! Perfect for newly planted seeds and delicate flowers/soil. The can is smaller than your standard can but worth it so my flowers don't drown. The hole to fill the can is a tad bit small/inconvenient when filling in the sink but with some maneuvering you'll figure out a good spot for it to get water in. Filling it with a hose will be easy but filling it from an outside spigot probably won't work. All in all I highly recommend this.

Pours beautifully! Ideal for seedlings and containers!
There are two cons to this watering can, but it is so superior in its pouring that I fell instantly in love with it.CON #1. I was hoping for a slightly larger watering can. It says it holds 1.2 gallons, but I'd say it holds more like .85 gallons comfortably. If you tip it at just the right angle, and fill it to the brim, then it gets close to holding a gallon, but as soon as you try to pour that .95 of a gallon, it comes out of the fill-hole, not the spout. So no, it really doesn't hold a gallon for practical purposes. And certainly not 1.2. I wish it were twice the size, or even half again the size, since watering takes a lot longer if you have to stop and fill it up more often.CON #2. the fill hole is not convenient. If you use a hose, or fill up a gallon jug separately and then pour the jug into it carefully (my current method), you can get it in the fill hole, but because of the placement directly under the handle, it's a bit of a pain if you're filling it from a spigot. Since I don't have a hose, there's not a way for me to leave it filling in my kitchen sink while I stack up dishes, for instance; I have to actively fill it the whole time myself, which is a significant time waster when you've got to fill it ten times, and are late to work.WHY I LOVE IT: it pours beautifully! It took me hours and hours of searching on the internet to find one like this. You can turn the spout over, facing upwards, to create a gentle rain for plants: gravity makes it arc up and fall very gently, ideal for container gardens, where it can be hard in the summer to keep the pots hydrated: if you just pour a heavy stream of water on them, it often goes right through the pot, and doesn't saturate it, not to mention leaching out nutrients. And if you've recently planted seeds, or have seedlings, the force from a traditional watering can often displaces the seeds, or flattens the seedlings. This one, however, creates a delicate rain that is much easier to control than the standard style, creating an even shower that is easy to start or stop with a tip of the can. With a traditional watering can, the sort that doesn't create this gentle upward arc of water, it's also impossible to get an even sprinkle unless you commit to the full force of the pour, which is often too hard on the plants, and wastes too much water leading up to the pour.Another pro: the long nozzle is particularly important for container gardens; it can reach under the branches of a plant to get to the soil, without wasting water as you accidentally pour onto the patio instead of the pot, and without getting the leaves too damp -- important with tomatoes, for instance!

Perfect!
For MANY years I have bought watering can after watering can looking for one that will gently but thoroughly water my container garden. Finally this looked like the right one. And FINALLY it has proven to be the right one. It is amazing that when you turn the nozzel upside down, the water comes out just like a gentle rain. Unlike other cans, with this one I can water lettuce seeds without displacing them. Just like a gentle rain. Amazing. I note that other folks have commented that the hole to add water is too akward and the size of the can is too small. These are not a problem for me. The gentle output is what counts. Excellent product and I would recommend it to anyone.

Great watering can with a light spray output
I've been looking for a watering can with a "rose" on the end that allows for a delicate spray output. This one does the trick. Many pour out too fast / hard or make a mess while doing it or are not consistent in the beginning or end of the process - but not this one. Works as you would think. Also - it certainly holds at least 1 gallon of water. I filled it mostly to the brim and then right back into a 1 gallon container...and it filled it right up. Thus, I am not sure about 1.2 gallons, but close enough and definitely not less than 1 gallon as many reviews state. Further, it was not difficult to fill up. I had no issue at all (ie "small opening on top"...just not an issue).

FLAWED but works
As numerous others have reported, the hole to fill it up is located in a poor spot so it is not as easy to fill as I would have like. You need to tilt it sideways for the water from the faucet to go in, or hold it at a slight angle right under the faucet for a less messy of filling it up. Overall I like the size (I wanted a smaller watering can for indoors) and so far it hasn't leaked.

Good little can.
Was looking for a smaller watering can. Works like a charm and seems like it will last a good while. The opening to fill seems made for a hose but you can still dip it into a rain barrel to fill it easily enough. Makes a nice rain and the nozzle can be turned

"PERFECTION!" 0.92 Gal and rain spout watering can
I have searched for a 1 Gal fine spray watering can and this product meets all my expectations. Just under 1 Gal, the rain spout can be turned either pointing up or down. For my preferences in a watering can, as described, the rain spout is a soft slow stream. I am very delighted with the product, the plastic is sturdy and the spout is easily removed to clean. As with any watering can I have ever used, of course there is a small amount of water runoff as it is getting empty, IMHO, so what, get over it. In all other respects, it's a big little watering can with an exceptional rain spout spray pattern.
