I’m so glad I picked up the basic Cricut tool set it’s an absolute essential! Each tool is well-made and makes my crafting process so much smoother. The only tool I think is useless is the tweezers. They do not have the ability to grab tightly, based on their criss-cross design and I use my bathroom tweezers instead when needed. While I own plenty of scissors, these have a super pointy tip which really helps get in tight spaces carefully. The pointy tool will definitely stab you over and over again but that's a use issue. It works so well at grabbing cut lines without damaging the surrounding objects-must have. I didnt think the spatula would be able to get under anything but it is tapered down thin, and really helps me get my cuts off the mat. If I had any complaints it's that I'd prefer a wider scraper in this kit because the small one doesn't do much. This is a great value for getting started. You really need at least a scrapper, poker and good scissors, and could get by without the spatula and tweezers, but if purchased separately, it would cost more for just those three.

The price point when I purchased this was too good to resist, I’ve had a cricut maker for a few years and this has just made creating so much easier! Don’t try and get by without it would be my advice!
