SWAMP COOLER MEDIA
I really like the fact that this a "cut to fit application!" This stuff is constructed very well and doesn't have that mildew smell that a lot of the older coolers have that use the grass type media.

Cover all the air holes
Mush better than the traditional straw pads

Cool story bruh
It works okay. I've had others that dissipate the water better throughout the membrane which provide a much cooler airflow. This one seems to not soak up the whole pad

to cold to use just yet.
have used this product before, it arrived before stated, the carrier dMged to shipping box but product was undamaged. this is used in an evaporative type swamp cooler and right now its barely 30 degrees out doors a bit early for using a house cooler, so contents unused rather stocked up for summer.

Dont waste your money
This thing is useless. Its dense like a sponge and when wet its even denser. The airflow is at least %50 less than with other way less expensive pads. Then there is the weird coating on it. It made my hands sticky and made a thick foam in the water.I spent a fraction of the amount on aspen wood pads and the airflow and the cooling actually work. With these blue pos rolls you barely get a 4 temperature drop than outside if that.

What a difference
This product is so much better than the original pads. Dropped the temperature coming out of the swamper by 8 degrees.

This needs a mesh screen covering to work right.
I took out the old broken down Aspen pads out. I cut 3 pieces to fit. First, I doubled them over thinking more water flow. I turned the unit on and it went well for about 5 minutes, then water started shooting out the air vent. I thought, well just make them single layer. same results, water shooting out the air vents. Then I thought, use the screen mesh from the old pads. Problem solved. You should include some screen mesh with your product. That's the only thing that worked for me.
