Excellent piece of kit, though a little pricey.
Needed something to crimp several different size battery terminals to cables for a solar and inverter build on a caravan. Looked at several reviews from people that had them snap on use, but bit the bullet and hoped for the best. It’s a bit difficult to hold the tool and keep the dies straight while also holding the cable and terminal and pumping the lever, but with a bit of juggling it can be done. Worked very well and very happy with the product and results. Mean’s you can build a cable run with terminal’s in situ rather than having to try to solder the terminals away from the project. Be aware that too much pressure applied after the terminals are crimped sufficiently, will put undue force on the jaws and may lead to a broken tool.

Surprising good!
For the price I must say I was a little concerned over what was going to arrive, but it’s a well made piece of kit that got the job done easily.My only one very very minor criticism would be that the does could have been made slightly more accurately, but that’s me being picky!

Good strong hydraulics, poor dies
Nothing wrong with hydraulics there good and strong.However the dies are poor in matching their partner but also in size, offen requiring to go down a size to get a tight crimp.

Do not buy !!!
Looked promising but after doing 4 battery lugs it was starting to bend out of shape on it head. Crimps were mushrooming out of shape also so obviously a cheap metal not hardened. It also became unusable has it was leaking.Do not buy!!!

Used to crimp 25mm sq cbles
Worked as it should to crimp 25mm sq cables. Lots of crimp adaptors came with this unit.
