Great value, easy to fit
This is the first time I’d rewired an electric guitar. I’ve only got a little bit of experience soldering and a very cheap soldering iron! I was a bit concerned as my 80s Kramer has a coil splitter for the bridge humbucker…. I needn’t have worried!I unscrewed the scratch plate and took a picture of the existing wiring on my phone. I then desoldered the ground wire to the tremolo and the jack plug. Removed all the old pots and desoldered the pickups. The new harness dropped straight in and, after a couple of blobs of solder to put the pickups, jack plug and tremolo ground wire back on, everything was in place, using the photo I’d taken earlier. The coil splitter switch stayed in place and was soldered back into the circuit just like the photo I’d taken.I made one mistake! I didn’t put a bolt on the pots and jack before inserting them though the scratch plate so they were too long for the old knobs. After a quick rectify, everything was nicely in place and working perfectly! My guitar sounds as good as new! What a bargain fix, so pleased I took the risk on this kit!

Faulty Switch All Wired Unable to contact Seller
This is good value they are 5k Pots. However after wiring everything into my Strat. I found Switch is faulty in 1st and 5th Position. Intermittent contact problem in the switch. Called amazon to get replacement but its not covered. Was told to send back. But everything's wired in now. All I need is the switch. And it will mess everything up to De-Soldering. No contact details for supplier. I've electrically checked everything. And it's a definitely a fault with switch not wiring. So I'm disappointed. Hope the supplier can read this and send replacement!?

Should a paid more for a better harness
It came with no instructions on where to wire pickups. I have done a few guitars so not a prob for me, but if your unsure how to wire it, its trial and error. The pots are nasty and poor quality. I pulled the volume pot in two just trying different knobs. I should have bought better, but was on budget. Now Ill buy seperates and wire my own.

Disappointed
Disappointed at the £3.50 charge to return item ordered in error,was looking for L.P wiring harness, especially as the postal package was never opened. ( and I have prime membership)
