This thing is like a toy! I love it and it is serious quality like all KISS products! Die cut box w/magnetic closure. 36 page booklet29 singles from around the globe and the solo singles all are on colored wax with masks for each member. Metal plaque High quality on frontand a lot of versions that are mixdowns for radio play. What do you expect. Kiss are pro's I would gladly purchase anything they put out without thinking twice. I also bought Monsterat half price because of a tear in the plastic. MONSTER is a TRUE KISS album! Yes I like the original lineup better but Monster is great too. Back to the subject. A lot if not all of these 45's are hard to hunt down but now you get them all for $150.00ish dollarsWhat does that come utt to a record?each package feels special when you open it and it's nearly magical to spin these. A KISS FAN will enjoy this 100% w/out one negative thing to say. The fairweather will take it back and whine like a bitch. International sleeves, some interesting mixes that were only available in singles form, nice sturdy box with fancy front and still the one or other different picture in a good little booklet. I like the fact that the playable sides of the discs are black. It's lots of fun to go through the songs and get a feeling for the A and B-side combinations. Printing quality of covers is so-so. Some are very crisp and clear (Shout It Out Loud and Strutter '78), and others (A World Without Heroes), seem to be a copy of a copy. Like from a bad printer. And now a major complaint - The B-side for "Shout It Out Loud (Live)" is Nothin' To Lose (Live). In the booklet it says that this version of "Nothin' To Lose" never made it onto Alive II, making it a true collector's item. But the version IS THE SAME recording from Alive '75! (??) So, where KISS planning on putting an old version of "Nothin'.." on Alive II at the time?? I don't follow. When I read the comment in the booklet, I immediately thought that that live version of "Nothin'.." was from the '77 tour!

There are several songs that are remixed and edited for radio or other reasons. I actually have all the remixes on their original 45 RPM's from back in the day so I bought the CD version for the quality sound for transfer to my ipod. DRC, Dr Love and Strutter 78 make it all worth it but check out See you in your Dreams from Gene's solo or Dirty Livin. They are different. Hard Times has a different ending. Shout it out loud fades out at the end. The singles are sometime far more interesting then their album counterparts. Getting the masks was cool, reminded me of the posters in the solo albums or the Love Gun "BANG" insert. Felt like getting a KISS album from the good ol days. I have been waiting for this set for a long time. If you love KISS it is a must have collection. It's all KISS, back when it really was KISS. No Tomfoolery here. The picture sleeves are awesome too. I give it 1111976 thumbs up.

I would suggest this box set only to collectors who like to own everything released by the band. ALL of the songs are available on the regular albums, though about half of these tracks feature single mixes or edits unique to this release. The sound quality is excellent, but the booklet that accompanies it is not very informative and contains a few errors (it states, for example, that the single version of "I Was Made For Lovin' You" appears on Killers--it does not--, or that the live version of "Nothin' To Lose" is somehow special when it's simply the Alive! album version).The packaging, though good, was a bit of an issue. The first box I received lacked a booklet. The replacement copy had the booklet but contained two copies of the "Strutter" 1974 single.Overall an interesting release for those of us who collect it all. If you're a casual fan this box may not interest you very much.

I give this 5 stars because I am a big fan and these are some pretty awesome sleeves. I'm a sucker for vinyl as well. The idea of this on CD is just stupid. What a waste of 29 CD's that could all be combined into a two disc set. As cool as I think this set is, I simply would never pay $300 for it. Amazon charged me $157 at the time and I still consider that about $57 too much. KISS is notorious for pricing folks out of the market on most of their merchandise but they can do so because there will always be someone (like me) who is willing to buy it.Overall, amazing set in very sturdy packaging. Way overpriced and not worth nearly what the current asking price is. Buyer beware.

Having been a Kiss fan for the last 35 years, I've acquired quite a collection, but this is the most money I've ever spent on a Kiss item. I don't regret it a bit. This is an incredible collection, and is well-packaged in an attractive case. I bought the 45's version, and from a collecting standpoint, I'd say that's the one to go with. I've listened to every song now, and they sound great. No issues. No complaints. My only advice would be to keep an eye on the price because it seems to fluctuate quite a bit.

For those of you who enjoy nostalgic items, and of course are Kiss fans, this is a perfect set. The only thing that would have made this better is if they had been actual vinyl 45 RPM singles. Still, the package is nicely crafted and the songs on each individual single sound fantastic. Some of the singles contain mixes that are different from the album versions of the songs Kiss fans are very familiar with. A neat package, and worth the money.

Es una caja muy bonita. Los acabados son buenos y de calidad. La impresión de las portadas son buenas pero no exelentes como las primeras ediciones, pero aún así es una colección muy bien echa.

Bought this set of kiss 45's for my youngest boy who loves kiss. Really nice collection and my son loves it. Would recommend this set to anyone who are kiss fans.

Réedition en version cd de tous leur singles est vraiment une bonne idée le coffret est tres beau, seul petit reproche est que l'ouverture ne soit pas sur le logo car cela oblige a le tourner chaque fois qu'on veut prendre un single mais ce n'est rien a côté de la joie que l'ecoute procure, je le conseillerais a tous fans de Kiss de possédant pas ces singles.

Worth having for every collector outthere! It comes including Spanish issue of "A world Without heroes" original Single Artwork. A Must!
