Great find. Works well. Just what I needed

Waste
wasted money. Would not work good enough to turn a lug nut. So tried to contact seller, they sent a video of how to use it. Claimed tool had to be level to work properly. Got tired of trying to explain issues and tossed it in the trash and stayed with 4way.

Don't push on the bolt or it won't work!!!
How to use this Impact wrench!!! I learned a lesson today, the impact wrench WILL NOT WORK work if you PUSH into the bolt you are trying to remove!!!! Instead put the socket on the bolt securely, then squeeze the trigger. The unit will spin up then go clank!, To remove my tire lug, I had repeat this 6x but each time I saw the lug turning. NOTE: if you use this on a flat, clank it 3x per lug then jack your car up a bit so the tire is either on the ground lightly or above ground or use your tire lug wrench again with the tire off the ground. If you have the weight of the car on the flat tire, you could snap or bend the lug nuts and or damage your rim!!! This supposedly has about 100lb more torque than the Kawasaki which I purchased first, and I think it does have some extra power as the Kaw. did not loosen my lug at all, BTW I also noticed I pushed the wrench into my bolt for some reason and I thought I broke it.... Moral of the story, put the socket on the bolt/lug but do not push into or down into the lug/bolt.I learned the pushing stops it by trying to remove the bolt on my motorcycle fork (if you need to replace your seals this makes it a piece of cake)! I pushed down and nothing was happening, luckily I took pressure off and then it worked, that's how I figured it out!!! I bet most of the I didn't work people made the same mistake as I just returned the Kawasaki for the same reason!!!

Wagan 12V impact wrench
The device works, but not as effective as I would like. This 12V impact wrench best operated with car running to supply 14V to make this product work better. At one impact per second or so, it takes a few seconds to wack wheel nut loose. Bottom line, it works, but for practical reasons, if it takes time to deal with the cable and its hookup, and throw in the one impact per second operation, it is just too much fuss with little reward. Better to have a breaker bar and appropriate lug nut size socket to leave in car for more efficiency. The short ineffective lug wrench supplied with most cars easily compensated by a good long Craftsman breaker bar with appropriate socket. With no assurance of how tight the lugs are when reinstalling them, a real wrench is best used anyway after using this impact wrench. However, the item is a keeper for me as home mechanic to deal with certain suspension work and long reach hardware. I would not recommend this product to the average buyer eyeing this product as an alternative to normal methods.6/2012: Now comes a positive update. The tool is very useful when time comes to perform car maintenance beyond working at one wheel. When rotating tires, this impact wrench amplifies its advantage compared to single wheel work scenario. Rotating tires or removing multple wheels to perform brake work are times when this tool really shines. There is the need to use a breaker bar or torque wrench to tighten the lugs with proper torque. Counting number of impacts during tightening process may not generate consistent tightening torque from lug to lug. But this tool works!

Wrench is powerful and great for emergency wheel changes
I wanted some emergency equipment for our motorhome. We have a spare wheel but we’ve had to wait hours for roadside assistance, if it’s available at all. I just don’t want to be stuck somewhere isolated (maybe where there’s no cell signal to call for help!) with a flat tire. So, I bought this wrench so I can change a wheel by myself. I tried to remove lug nuts with a long-handled wrench but couldn’t break the lug nut free. Then I tried this 12V wrench and voila! It removed the nuts like a champ. No arm-breaking recoil (torque) either. I haven’t useed the wrench yet in an emergency situation but I’m confident I can change a wheel by myself with this tool. PS: you can but shouldn’t use it to reinstall lug nuts - it’s powerful enough that you could strip the threads. I use a torque wrench for that. Between these two tools, I think I’m covered!

3 stars for a reason
I bought it because this was the least expensive option and came with additional sizers. I used it on my sedan and it struggled at first to take the lug nuts off but it did work. It gets hot faster, the quality ( for which I took few stars off) is marginal at best. I don’t anticipate it lasting with regular use. The built in light feature seems useless as well. Its Avery did light poorly placed at the bottom. I kept it because it does work and only for emergency use.

Great for emergencies
It works. It fits in my truck box or car trunk.Do not know how it would hold up with every day use. You probably need something stronger for that. However, I have used it several times, and it worked. Do not expect it to sound or work like a regular impact wrench. If you can read, read the directions and follow them and it will work.It was a good price for an emergency tool.
