Great Vise Pads
Bought to use in conjunction with an Irwin Drill Press Vise and an AR15 Upper Receiver Block. Since Im limited for space where I live, I saw a guy on youtube use this setup to work on an AR he was doing work on. The vise pads are great as they offer you a smooth side or a grip side depending on how you arrange them on the vise jaws. They are magnetic so they hold onto the metal quite well. For the purpose I bought them for they have aided me in attaching a muzzle device as getting the correct torque so that the crush washer engages correctly.

Work Great……should have purchased these years ago
These work great. The front sight on my one hand gun has not been centered in the dovetail from factory and it’s really bugged me. Tends to make my MOA about 2” to the left from aim point. I’ve tried several times to tap it into center but it’s really tight and no luck. I found sight movers here on Amazon but most are a bit expensive for something you might use once or twice. Then I spotted these and thought, if I could use them in my vise to hold my gun slide tight enough I just might be able to center that darn front sight. Of course I didn’t use my vise before in fear of damaging my gun. These enabled me to really clamp down on the slide holding it solid. A half dozen taps with a punch and things were centered perfectly. There’s no telling what else I might be able to use these for in the future. They hold your work very securely in the vise and will not leave any marks behind. Definitely worth their price and something I should have purchased long before now.

Very nice, but.
Very nice. They fit well with the bench vice. However the magnets are not very strong.

Fairly nice jaw covers
As far as protecting your work piece, they're great! The magnets that help the covers stay in place are worthless. They're good magnets, if they would stay attached to the jaw covers. The first time I used them one of the magnets came out. By the 3rd or 4th time I had used them, all the magnets had fallen out. I tried to glue them back in, but to no avail. The magnets need to be molded in, not glued on. That would make them really nice!

Measure your vise
I wrongly assumed my vise was 4 inches,, nope, it 5 inches. So I can still use these for some projects. They were the cheapest ones. And they don't seem to be very heavy duty.I'd advise you spend more and get some stronger blocks unless your doing very light work. The magnets aren't very strong either.

Great jaw pads with great hold to the vise jaws.
Love that these pads.Strong-ish magnets on both flanges: A lot of the pads I have seen (and purchased) on Amazon have only one set of small magnets on one side of pad. This holds well in the vertical plane but allows the horizontal plane to detach from the vise! Becomes a pain to constantly be fiddling with. This product have magnets on BOTH flanges which significantly reduce the fiddle-factor. :) I do think even stronger magnets would be nice esp for projects where you are constantly tightening and then moving the piece, adjusting etc. The pads still want to wander a little. But overall... very happy with theseInterchangeable pad faces: Because there are magnets on both flanges of the pads, you can quickly and easily flip them and alternate between the a complete flat/smooth face and a grooved face (with channels to assist in holding at different angles 90, 180, 45).Material:The material is a hard non-marring plastic. It appears durable but only time will tell. There is no rubber so this is not the softest of jaw pads but is great for soft metals like aluminium.Great product. Highly recommend.

Work Great - No Issues So Far
I really like these vise jaws. They're just the right size for my vise, and so far I've had no issues with the magnets coming unglued and sticking to my vise jaws. Even if they do, I figure a dab of weatherstrip cement will fix them up no problem. There were also some folks saying they didn't get the proper mirror image opposite side- just wanted to mention mine are the proper mirror image of each other so you can use the built-in grooves. I've been using these for pretty much everything I clamp in my vise regardless of the surface of the object and they've held up well so far and expect to have them for a long time.

They do the job intended.
They are good for the money. The magnets are strong and I have had a couple of the magnets pop out when removing these from the vice jaws so had to epoxy them all in place. I have my doubts about them holding up. I'll need to see just how durable the material is long term.
