Omg, This book saved my life from the disaster called my home! I had been staring at this book set for months determining if I should even consider buying it. I'm glad I caved in and made the purchase! Marie Kondo is very informative on how to declutter your home; she even tells her life story of how she learned and developed her method throughout her childhood and adulthood. I highly recommend this book!!!

Getting both books is worth it. She goes into so much detail and it's not just about the details honestly about the experience of reading it. It's a lot of fun, and it also normalizes everything that we all do. Because all of these habits are normal, we just need to have the motivation to fix them and the books definitely help with that!

I haven’t started my clean up event yet, but this book is giving me all the details to do so. I liked how she answers a lot of my questions and doubts about how to properly clean up the house. I’ve seen her Netflix series and I’m encouraged to finish the book and start properly.

Marie Kondo is famous for her TV Show Tidying up. Support people, in organizing their belongings, even cleaning up their minds. At an early age, she has developed her method, called KonMari. With this easy system, everyone should be able to declutter his home. In her show, she got into contact with different cases, some who needed more encouragement and others who could not let go so effortlessly. With every item, there is a story attached to it, which makes it sometimes hard to let go.In volume one, you will find all the facts about her method and how to apply them in your daily life. Also, the books are well organized, easy to follow. Each chapter discusses one topic, for example, 'What are the reasons for my Untidyness' or that it all starts with discarding. Her well known folding techniques of clothes are easy to understand.In the second book, Marie describes more in detail how to arrange household items, clothes, or kitchen tools, and again all separated into chapters. There are little drawings in it, helpful and supporting the explanation. They may be slightly too small.I came upon these books after watching the show, and because I am interested in a clean, organized environment myself, I thought it could be fascinating to get more into detail. I highlighted some paragraphs for easy access later. It comes in handy for springcleaning or the change of clothes in autumn. I liked that Marie included her own experiences with decluttering or establishing a system in her wardrobe. In my view, an informative read, cute little books, perfectly fit in the slipcase.

Until I read this book, I thought that I had control of my things. Then I realized that my things really had possession of me. Konmari's work inspired me to let go of what has been holding me back by confronting them directly. The best thing that I was able to hang on to is my future. After reading both The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up and Spark Joy, I have found I prefer Spark Joy! Life Changing Magic gives you all the tools but Spark Joy teaches you how they work and how to put them into play in your life.

They are great! Very good quality, they look great but the problem is that one of the book's pages are damaged.

The books have everything I want and are very helpful. I’m on my way to clutter free living!
