Works in about everything. You can melt any material to the shape you want. I bought this mainly for heat shrinking tubing but found myself heating and reshaping ALL kind of plastic material, from water pipes to sun glasses to custom made computer parts etc, etc. The setting on high can actually melt any material except metal or glass, the lower setting can help you remove bumper stickers or glued paper. Its super effective on removing and replacing cell phones screens and even repair scratches on plastic surfaces. My wife and I use it in infinite materials. Another item I can't live without it

I have been using this in crafts since I got it in, and it works very well. It might not work for long periods at a time, but I haven't needed to find out. What I do know is it gets plenty hot to use it from a distance from the target, and is easy to hold onto, and find a home for on my crowded workspace.

Ok not getting a five star because for me it is too strong. It pushed the resin around more than heats it up. It is a little to strong for what I wanted.

I bought this primarily to heat-set acrylic paint with fabric-medium. I’m pleasantly surprised how great it is for quickly drying acrylic paint used on projects like customized shoes and furniture (e.g. wood shelves). It is soooo quiet, easy to hold, and energy efficient compared to the hairdryer I was using. My only complaint is that you can’t use it too long or it will run hot. So it is perfect for small projects and small areas.

Game changer! I seriously kicked my candle biz up a notch with this magic voodoo wand! So many great uses for this heat gun but my main purpose is to use it on my finished candles to drown out sink holes and other imperfections that natural wax- base candles create. I was in awe the first few uses. It works like magic!
