My first review of this product was posted in 2019, at the time I loved this product. It was easy to set up, affordable, and kept my dog in the fence. Now however, this product is just the hottest mess that I've ever experienced. It works when it wants to and when it doesn't you're just SOL. The actual collar stopped working months ago and I had to get it replaced. The new collar for some reason shocked harder and randomly the first few days. Once it adjusted it worked fine for a few more months and now the wall monitor decided it no longer wants to work. I think this is a temporary fix product. It only works for a few months and then you really just need to invest in a higher end product.

This is my second unit. The first unit worked for about 6 weeks and then stopped working. I bought a second unit which I thought was the same as the first. Itstransmitter and transformer are slightly different. I connected it to the same loop as the original and it has worked flawlessly for several months now. Our dog has learned where to go in our woods and stays clear of the invisible fence. He would probably avoid the border even without the collar. The second unit has been definitely worthwhile even if I essentially paid double for it since I bought it as a replacement for the first unit which broke.

I have a little escape artist. No matter what, he finds a way to run to the park. Climbed fence, burrowed under, sneaks out when with kids. Most problems were fixed, except when outside with family. I bought this because it is supposedly 2 stage: AUDIBLE BEEP, THEN SMALL SHOCK if returned to boundary within a certain time frame. I strung it up around the yard before before a permanent install. Hooked it up, set the perimeter to about 2 meters. Tested it. It seemed ok. Then, BAM YELP YELP YELP! It just started going off and wouldn't stop. I took it off, reconfigured it a couple of days later and it seemed to actually work, but no matter where, it just beeped. We're talking 20 ft from the line. Somehow he gets out and it doesn't go off like it should. Bring him back and adjust the collar probes. Back to shocking for no reason.No dog deserves that. It's supposed to be a training tool, but this one is utter garbage. No matter how low the boundary was set, it kept beeping and shocking. Poor thing hates me so much right now and I was trying to keep him safe and in the yard with the kids.AVOID AT ALL COSTS

My yellow lab doesn't even care at highest setting. She just goes about running anywhere she wants. Did not deter her from visiting neighbors lawns etc. I ended up building an actual fence to contain her. Perhaps it would deter a little yappy dog but had no effect on my large breed.

At first the product was great and working great but the collar stopped working even after I’ve charged it multiple times. However, the communication with the seller had been great. They activated my warranty for the product and said they will be sending me a new collar! They have been great finding a solution to not having a working collar anymore. We only wanted to use this for our backyard. Unfortunately, there is no good way to make this work. We doubled up the wire but that ended up canceling the current and thus NOT shocking our dog every time. Our dog was getting confused on where she was and wasn’t allowed to go. The shock is definitely strong and will get their attention. I prefer not to use the shocking method though. I would think this is good for hard to train dogs.

Will be installing this once we have completed our move. I cannot wait to be able to let my dog in the front yard and not have to chase her around town.

Fence worked great. Collar did die after two months which I chalk up to bad luck. Contacted seller and a new one already on the way. A+ for customer service.

Fil si mince qu’on ne le voit presque pas et on s’accroche dedans et enterré, à moins de 1 cm ne signal n’est pas fiable ni constant à moins de 15 cm du sol. Je n’ai jamais vu de fil électrique aussi petit. Pas de régulateur d’intensité, mon petit chien de 6.4 kg s’en est pris plein la gueule. Il est traumatisé et ne veut plus aller dehors faire ses besoins. Il a commencé à les faire dans la maison. Le dispositif n’est pas imperméable, mais le signal part du dispositif. Il faut donc le mettre dans la maison (et le chien se prend des chocs dans la maison) ou construire un endroit à l’abri où le chien ne va pas. Super pas pratique. Je pense le retourner mais j’ai mis tellement de temps à installer le fil que c’est décourageant de devoir recommencer. Ne perdez pas votre temps. Investissez davantage dans un système de meilleure qualité.

this fence comes with all you need, the warning area of the loop doesn't have the variation that the better models have. the box states its above or below ground the boundary wire is VERY thin and low quality. When compared to my last boundary fence but you get what you pay for! will install belter wire next spring

Ok... let me just say that this thing does work as expected but it has some serious flaws. Dog went over the line and was put into a constant shock that made her fall over. Very dangerous. Build quality is average but not great for the price I paid. Do not recommend if you actually like your dog.

I thought this was a underground wire option. Doesn't work for me at all. Can't mow over wire!!!! Not happy. Out 160.00
