Great Fabric Dye with Impressive Results
I recently used this fabric dye and couldn’t be happier with the outcome! Don’t be alarmed if the color looks a bit off right after you finish dyeing—it’s normal. After the first wash, the color settles and looks amazing, maintaining the same shade but with a more refined appearance. The dyeing process is straightforward and not too messy, and cleanup is a breeze. This dye is perfect for refreshing old clothes or creating custom designs. It’s easy to use, delivers great results, and the final product looks fantastic. Highly recommend!

The dye came out beautifully. (Chocolate brown on Nylon)
I was very hesitant on dealing with any sort of dyes but this was very hassle free. The product I dyed originally had me feeling buyer’s remorse as the color I had chosen seemed like a dark gray but the pictures were deceptive as the product was a bright gray color, (the black/brown options were 2-3 times more expensive).I was expecting the worst with the dye such as the dye washing out, the metal changing colors, or the dye just not absorbing in general. None of that happened. If I ever need to dye anything again I won’t hesitate when it comes to getting more of this brand. Random people on the internet are aLwAyS the most truthful and unbiased opinion givers so you can totally trust me when I say this product works. (Just make sure to watch a tutorial before you buy it so you know what you’re getting into and so you know if you’re getting exactly what you need.)

Perfect color everytime
This as used to dye some thrifted clothes and works amazingly well. The color is as promised and the clothes have been washed many times without losing color retaining the desired appearances as it adhered well and remains as bright and vibrant as when done. The color seals in great.

Color was a little off
I purchased Cocoa Brown, expecting a deep brown color. It had a red tint which I wasn’t a fan of. My dress was a sand peach color beforehand so not if that’s why it came out more red. Would recommend a different brown or buying “Marigold” to tone it to brown

Color is weak
This didn't workout for me, way too light in color.

Great saturation!
I use it in a fairly large bucket, about the size of a small sized sink. I usually do 2 or 3 women's shirts at a time. It darkens best on cotton but it works wonderfully on my other shirts with other fabrics. I have used 3 different colors of dye in the past month or two. The one thing about doing it by hand is that you need to be there the full half hour agitating the water with your hands. Be sure to wear gloves-you need hot water and you don't want to dye your hands. I use the Rit color stay which helps it stay vibrant.. I've used Rit for many years.

Color doesn’t always match
Keep in mind color will not always be the same as the bottle, it depends on what fabric you use, any dirt or oils left on the fabric and how you put the fabric in the water will all play a role in the appearance and adhesion of the pigment onto the fabric. My dress was a polyester fabric so I knew the color wouldn’t pick up as well. My dress was white and when I used the eggplant color, it turned into a beautiful bright pink. Not messy and can have a very versatile affect on the color that comes out, exactly as I expected so I’m happy!

Enough for a blazer
The colour was finessed as I went along. The longer I simmered the pot the darker it got. Although I had washed the blazer before it still came out a bit splotchy. Not sure I would try it on an expensive piece.
