Just got it...minor assembly required...read directions...set it up. Works as advertised.
Seems sturdy and of high quality. Easy to use. Easy to carry with one hand folded up. Very portable. Base is stable laterally but the rubber/plastic feet slide on porcelain tile. Need another person to ensure base is stable and doesn't slip. Went up about 2/3 of the way to top and chickened out going any higher. 15 feet is way up as high as I will ever need or want. So far the ladder is as advertised. I will revise this write up if I encounter anything adverse in the future. Best selling points: Portable...takes little space to store...easy for one person to carry...extends as high as I want to go.

The perfect telescoping ladder for higher up
Great quality, good ladder, love it, wish I had one years ago. Compared to a folding ladder...there is no comparison. The telescoping design is much better. I've bought a couple of telescoping ladders in different sizes and formed strong opinions. This WolfWise is quite nice. First, it's a legit 15.5 ft high. Most telescoping ladders misrepresent the height as 'max reach' vs. actual ladder height (my other so called 14ft telescoping ladder is only 10.5 ft high). If this is your first time buying a telescoping ladder, here's my quickie buyer's guide: 1) Get one with air cushioned 'soft close' retraction. The ones that slam your fingers are no fun. 2) Closure buttons/levers should be on the front of first step, not the bottom of the step (check the photos) 3) Only one pair of closure buttons on the bottom step; not each step (life is too short to actuate each step) 4) Make sure there are visual locking indicators on every step (trust me - this is important) 5) Double-check the height. Most list the 'max reach' vs actual height. They lie. That's about all one can check when buying online. Once it arrives, a good ladder won't flex (much) when you climb high and the cheap ones bow badly. No way to tell from the marketing. I can say this WolfWise is very good quality, as is the COSCO SmartClose. I wouldn't be surprised of both didn't come from the same factory.

Use everyday for inspections on roofs - Very good ladder - Got a good tip if you buy
Initially this ladder hit all the marks except for one - it is sturdy, light, easy to carry, is pretty easy to extend, etc. The one thing I didn't like at first was that the ladder either had to be fully extended or you could only extend it as far as your height and arms could reach. The self contracting feature didn't allow me to make the ladder the exact height I wanted. I like to put my ladder up against the roof edge and go approx. 18" - 24" over and step over as I get up on the roof. At first with this fully extended it would be 4'+ above the roof and I would have to step around which I didn't like. Then I realized I could extend it all the way, then as I went towards the top of roof, I could re-tract the top rungs/steps from being too high to the height I wanted by pushing up on the red retracting buttons at the bottom of rung. The self full retract has to start at the bottom with the switch type buttons you move inward, but the red bottom rung ones can be done independently after its fully extended from the top. Hope that makes sense. This tip is not in the instructions. The instructions only tell you along with the q&a that the ladder has to be fully extended or you can extend it starting from the bottom but only as high as you can reach. So if you don't like to step around a to tall ladder, then you can lower it once up but following those steps and making this ladder more versatile.

Great so far
I almost hate to review this item given fakespot's f score for the existing reviews. So far so good though. I purchased the longest version that came with a stabilizer bar. It flexes no more than a regular extension ladder. The stabilizer is probably a life saver with this size and doesn't make it that much harder to store. I used power tools to attach the stabilizer not the junky supplied tools. It's a bit heavy but I can tuck it under an arm fully collapsed and that makes it terribly easy to move. If you're petite probably not so much. One thing I noticed is that the soft close feature is great but doesn't apply to the top few rungs. This shouldn't be an issue except the bang is scary when you're that high up. Coming from a little giant style ladder all I can say is the old one is out by the road now. Make sure you inspect the latches as you climb and keep your fingers out of the pinch points.

Works quite well and doesn't weigh much
This made for a fun ladder to test out before coming to a decision on it. At first, it was a little wider than we had expected. Not over-wide, but as wide as a normal heavy-duty ladder. When you are looking at it in the (item) pictures, it looks as though it is more narrow than it really is (or maybe that was just us). Weight isn't bad at all. It's around 35lbs, which may sound a little bad to some, but really this is good for a ladder of this height. A balance between a good weight and not awkward to carry around like a normal metal or fiberglass ladder typically is. Comparing it to the "little" (name we likely can't mention per policies) ladders (which is the closest thing to compare this to in review), this one is less awkward to carry around as it very neatly/naturally tucks underneath your arm, making it easy to move around with it. The locking mechanism made us nervous at first, but it seems to hold just fine (and we definitely tested it out). We tested it for weight as much as a certain safety organization would suggest in the regulations that exist out there for ladder safety. It seems to hold up just fine. When extending it to its full height, you start from the top step, which seems pretty easy to do. When partially extending it (like you see in a few of the images we provided), you start from the lowest step. Since you start with all of the weight, it isn't as easy this way, but it is still quite doable. When collapsing it, it uses air to slowly bring each step down one at a time so you don't hurt yourself. It is kind of fun watching it collapse. All in all, we liked this ladder. **If you have found our review helpful, please vote it as helpful below so we know. Very Dangerous Sending Out Defective Ladders 😠
Received item. First off, the box was just slightly damaged only noting small quarter sized holes with scuffed and dented edges, most likely from laying on its side while in transit. The ladders top three sections would not click. The third opening section from the bottom is not opening at all like the others do. This ladder would not have passed OSHA Compliancy. There is no indicator anywhere on this ladder stating anything remotely that this ladder was checked for inspection and passes a safety standard for use of consumer. My ladder in no way should set the standard for everyone's ladder. I simply believe that mine somehow slipped by quality control. Wolfwise is a great company. I have been ordering products from this company for some time now and I can recommend highly. I ordered a replacement. I will update on the replacement soon. UPDATE: Company sent out a replacement ladder. The ladder was in better condition than the first one sent out but still the rungs were not locking so I could use it for lower level climbing. I tried mid level climbing and same thing, the rungs would not lock. It only fully locks for full use climbing when the ladder is fully extended. This is the second ladder of this make that does not allow me to use for climbing at lower to mid level heights. Again, sending back for a full refund. Both ladders would never be able to stand up to the type of work I do. For now, I will be staying with my full set extension aluminum ladders. More inconvenient but reliable and safe.

Scares the crap out of me but hasn't been a problem yet
I want to love this ladder and mostly I do. I love how portable it is and how it's pretty easy to use. I've never had any kind of accident with it, never gotten hurt in any way from it. I've used it many many times outside my house. However, it still scares me to death every time I use it because it feels flimsy, especially at the top and I'm always worried that it will, all of a sudden, collapse down while climbing it. I'm also always worried that my fingers will get smashed when closing it up/collapsing it even though it has a safety thing with hydraulics or something that keeps it from collapsing quickly. I love that the base is really wide. I feels very stable side to side however, the feet are rounded and a fairly stiff plastic so they don't grip smooth surfaces well. I would not trust this ladder on a smooth inside floor.

Great ladder but questionable quality control
This feels like a well built solid ladder and folds up into a very nice small package for mobility and transport. It came well packed and nicely oiled so it was easy to extend and retract the ladder. Simply push the buttons on the lower rungs and it folds up nicely. Unfortunately, there were a few steps that would not lock into position, even when specifically pulling them up tightly. This makes those steps spongy and they bend down when stepping on them. Poor functioning steps on a ladder is not safe, so I’m sending it back for a replacement. I really like the ladder and hope the quality control on the replacement is good, so I can keep it. I will update this review when the replacement comes in.
