The two slots each feature their own angled ceramic grinding wheel and plastic guide wheel. This configuration ensures that the knife is sharpened with the correct bevel angle. Fast grinding, 3-5 passes over the wheel for each side of a double bevelled blade should see it back to being razor sharp. The tough ABS plastic body has a large hand grip making the knife sharpener easy to hold down to a bench with one hand while the other hand sharpens the knife.
