I really liked how easy this was to apply. More importantly, how easy it was to wash off any excess. There are tools provided to apply the powder but I used a silicone based one I already had to apply instead. Uses less product, applies easily, easier to clean up. However, it comes to the same result whichever tool you use. So, don't feel like you have to purchase anything else. Black polish is fantastic but other colors can be used. I just used my gel base/top with the powder and thought that looked pretty good as well. That's the fun thing with this. Make it your own.
