I just stopped coloring my hair the first of the year just got tired of getting colored and two weeks later gray hair came through at hairline and sides. not to mention the cost every month. My hairdresser had already told me me my hair was about 90 % gray. Since I had been thinking of stopping the color I said enough. I mix this with some of my regular shampoo and conditioner. Very happy with silvery gray hair it gives me. Does my gray hair make me look and feel old ? Not one bit !!!!

Good product but know what you are buying, and what it will do to color on your hair!
In the past I have used "purple shampoo" a lot! This purple shampoo is wonderful if you are bleaching your hair and not adding color, or if your hair is naturally white or gray and has a tendency to go yellow that you want to out of your hair. DO NOT, however use it on your hair if it has been DYED GRAY, IT WILL REMOVE EVERY SPEC OF COLOR FROM YOUR HAIR! I MADE THIS MISTAKE! My beautiful shiny gray hair that had been dyed with permanent color just 7 days prior.....no longer existed after using this shampoo! DO NOT apply to dry hair if it is blonde. It can turn your hair purple, and did turn mine and I had to re bleach my hair. This is not the products fault but it is mine for not fully understanding how well this product can work!

Did not want purple hair!
I bought this because my hairdresser told me to use a shampoo especially made for white or silver grey hair. When I used this shampoo, it turned my white hair ( in front) to a dull grey and turned the rest of my (light grey) hair a dull gunmetal color, with a faint purple hue all over.Two shampoos with another regular shampoo and the dull grey color remains. I had loved my silky white hair in front and the gradual darker grey shading that I had before. I am very disappointed in this product.
