Super Soft Baby Alpaca Wool Reversible Shawl Wrap Cape Dark Kelly Green Color

I bought this shall for work becouse it is always freezing. This shawl is so warm and comfy. I just love it. Plus it is really soft, not scratchy. The length is really nice much longer than a regular shawl. I highly recommend it. The only thing is that the color is a bit darker than in the pictures.

This is my first Alpaca wool purchase so I didn't know what to expect. Most importantly, I wanted something warm for the cold mountain weather and this fits the bill perfectly! Not only is it very substantial and warm but it just feels happy and cozy when I wear it. Even though the wool is in a loose weave, kind of furry, it doesn't shed and it's not itchy (I am allergic to angora). The deep green color is beautiful but be warned that any lighter colored hair or fibers will stick to it and show up. All in all, I am very happy with this purchase.

Lovely, soft shawl with deep, rich color. I've bought similar Ecuadorian shawls in the past and they helped me get through last year's brutal Massachusetts winter! They're great to wear on cool days instead of a sweater, and really insulate you from the cold if you wear them over your shoulders and pulled up around your neck under a coat. They're great to wear in a blizzard, to cuddle up in while working on a laptop, or to just relax with a glass of wine and a cozy fire.

I purchased the dark green shawl in November 2013. It has been the best wrap for traveling, especially when plane temps are a little cooler. Great for unexpected weather changes or you just need an extra layer (also serves as a "mini" blanket). It has held up really well, so I just ordered another one (different color)!
