Installed on 2018 Wrangler JL. Use their website videos for easier installation. Updating took some time but was a straight forward process. Works as advertised and is nice to have on hot days. With the 15 minute run time, good option to charge the battery a little when using the Wrangler as a tow vehicle.

I’ve only had this installed for about a day, so the review may be premature but so far so good.I had this installed on my 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4Xe. I know they say you can install it yourself, but after watching some videos about how to remove the different pieces of the dashboard, I decided it would be best to let a pro do it. I took it to a local car audio shop and he said he installs these specific Start-X products all the time, no big deal. He had it done in under an hour.Important: It comes pre-programmed for a 2020 all gas JL Wrangler so it didn’t work on my vehicle at first. He had to flash it to reprogram it for the 4Xe (Plug in Hybrid) model. Once he did that, it was all good.When I first got in my vehicle after install, it had done something to my infotainment system. The climate screen was not functioning correctly and you could only change climate with the physical buttons, but the screen was showing as if you weren’t changing anything. It was a weird glitch. I went in to the infotainment system settings and did a factory reset and that fixed it. Everything went back to functioning as normal and the remote starter still functioned properly. Not sure if it was the starter component that caused the glitch or it was something the installer did, but either way, the factory reset fixed it so all good.Pretty simple use… Click the lock button on your factory key fob three times, the vehicle starts.It will run for 15 minutes, or you can click the lock button again three times and it will shut off.One thing that is different from other remote starts is that you have to press and release the brake, and then press the brake again to shift in to gear. If you simply press on the brake and try and shift right away, the vehicle will shut off.

remote start works perfect , easy install and only issue I had was my lap top timed out on downloadsoftware , called tech support after I had tried a few times , they were very helpful , even stayed on the phone while I started the vehicle for a few off/on cycles to make sure was working correctly .I have hadthis installed now for a few months works flawlessly , the distance range is great as well . works like a factory unit . And talk about dealer 750.plus programing . this is looking like a bargain.. very DIY , highlyrecommend ..

Worked and started my Jeep maybe 10 times for a week and mow it just clicks like it is going to start but never does. Tried the firmware upgrade but no luck. Waste of money after all the work to install neatly.

I installed this into my 2020 Wrangler. Even as a beginner at working on my vechile, It was easy eought to do (though 10 minutes was a wildly exaggeration for a beginner... took me 3 hours, between running in and out from the instruction being a bit daft in having to go in and out to until something then install... instructions could be a big easier.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Love the remote start on my 2024 jeep gladiator! All we have to do it’s lock the car and press the lock button 3 times and works like a charm.

fairly easy to install if you have some auto exp, didn’t like the fact that i had to update and download to use it after saying plug and play in ad. But, it did work as advertised after a bit of time.
