very pleased would buy again

Did not work. Bought new batteries and still did not work. Had to take it to bits and fix the switch. Beware of cheap 'bargains' on Amazon and ebay.

It is a helpful product, but I am not really impressed by control buttons. It is good that this little object has several modes of illuminating, including dim red light. The only down fall with this little and useful product, are its 2 push-pull buttons. Their shape is not easily felt by fingers in the darkness and it could be very stressful, if you are in the middle of nowhere, with this lamp on your head not starting as easy as you would like.
