Works well. Very comfy. Relieved bunion pain. I purchased clear. I can even wear this with some sandals. I primarily wear it at home resting. I've worn it out with sandals. No issues. I tried wearing it while on a walk with dog, it became a bit uncomfortable. Everyone is different so try what works for you. I highly recommend this product. Soft. Pliable. Easy to use. Easy wash.

Really great product. Relieved the discomfort and pain caused by a hammer toe rubbing up against my big toe. I no longer walk tentatively because of hammer toe problems. I wear this everywhere, even around the hoiuse with slippers. Total comfort. Highly recommend.

I ordered these because my orthopedic doctor recommended them for my fractured big toe on the joint, which is where my bunion sticks out. He said it could help my bunion also. I find them semi-comfortable while wearing them with my crocks. So a wider shoe is needed, I think. It takes a while to adjust the position on the toe to not be painful to wear. They need to be worn no so close to the base of the second toe. That's where I found them most comfortable to wear when I walk with them on.

When I exercise my big toe joint really hurts and realized that it is because the joint is out of alignment (the beginning of a bunion). I use this and the pain is gone. I only wear it when I work out and it does not irritate or pinch the other toes for the hour that I have it on. It is comfortable and my foot still fits nicely in my shoe. I'm never working out without it again.

I was hopeful this would help for my situation but it only does up to a point. I have calluses on my 2nd toe from the big toe rubbing against it (from bunions). I do a ton of walking (participate in a 3-day, 60-mile walk every year). On my 3-5 mile walks at home, this starts out okay but then the separator slides down my toe. The callus is on the upper part of my toe so after it slides down, my toes start rubbing against each other again, causing pain. I am surprised to see it does not come in other sizes.

I have a bunion on one foot - my late mother had one on the same foot, and my younger sister has one as well. These soft, silicone toe separators are terrific - they really prevent rubbing of the big toe against the 2nd toe, and are easily worn with socks, knee high hose, or pantihose. They don't pose a problem fitting into shoes, either. Definitely recommend these, and wear them all day every day.

My husband is starting hammer toe, and i had a big toe joint replacement that went well, but at about six months started having metatarsal nerve pain in that foot. We both started wearing these on our second toe, so it is placed against the big toe and we have both felt huge pain relief. Bought extras just to have in case these tear but so far they are very sturdy. We bought the clear ones so we could wear with chacos, tevas, birkenstock. They also fit well under socks with sneakers and hiking boots.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is very comfortable to wear all day, and keeps my big toe from pressing onto my other toes and making my bunion worse, but I wish it were either firmer or thicker. My bunions on both feet are happy enough with these in play, but my left foot could use a teeny bit more spacing than this provides. If they had a firmer version I would buy that.
