Tandy Leather X-Small Rapid Rivets Nickel Plate 100/pk 1278-12

These are just what I wanted. They are the perfect size for riveting two layers of polypro webbing. I didn't need the riveting tool, I just tapped them with a hammer on a wood desk. I ordered 1000 of these to bling out a Rodeo Queen gown that I was making. (remind me to NEVER hand set that many rivets again- ever!) These were easy to set with the Tandy 8100 rivet setter and anvil. Just punch a hole, insert the rivet and rivet back, and pound away! It was cheaper to order 10 packs of these from Amazon than to buy a bag of 1000 at the Tandy leather store near me.

Is exact fit for my project

Tandy rivets are really easy to work with, they have an indent that allows the rivet to snap together before you do the actual riveting. This is extremely helpful when you are assembly something and need to adjust to drive the rivet. The post is about 1/8" in diameter.

Good for quick joining of leather, sheet vinyl or similar products. Be sure to select proper size for the job you are doing. Not too strong, so use solid rivets for heavy duty work. Needs special tool for installation.

Good rivets, but size was not what I needed (needed something even smaller) - hope to find another design to use them with
