Finally found the perfect curtain for our sliding glass door , holding the heat , and not be able to see through was exactly what I was looking for ! 1 panel did the job , very happy !

Great light fabric that does a heavy job. We have one panel of the brown on a slider that faces west. When that afternoon hot sun hits the deck the whole dining room used to heat up. Now we don't even feel the heat or see the sun. Also love a back tab. It is my favorite type to hang. Looks like drapes and hangs and slides so easy without hooks or rings. It has been hang for a few summers and absolutely no fading.

I purchased the black curtains because I needed to block out light for privacy. You could see my shadow a lot when I had beige curtains. Great quality. Perfect size. Affordable price. The black ones block out light the best. Also helps regulate the temperature indoors.

I was nervous about purchasing these curtains online but overall, I'm happy and would purchase them again. These curtains are hung in our sunroom and rec room over the glass sliding. It's heavy and feels and looks like quality. It does a superb job at energy efficiency. I opened my sliding glass door with the screen closed (about two hours) and it blocked pit the heat (I was surprised at the difference it makes and noise from mowing). I was impressed. I gave these curtains a 4 and not a 5 is due the sizing being off and hem length. It's not even at the bottom, so I wouldn't hang these in my living room. We had our rods professional installed and the rods are leveled. Also, a well made curtains has a hem of at least 6 inches, this is less....that really gives it away. I would pay a little more for that. Overall, I recommend these and would buy them again...In fact we will for the bedrooms. I will go more high end for the living room. Oh I can't speak to black out aspect because we purchased in white.

The curtains are beautiful. They block out the light and are the perfect length. I did have to iron them as they were folded in the package, but I expected that. Would highly recommend.

UPDATE - Love them even more. I have three 20' sections on my patio with 2 curtains in each section. During the summer, the sun sets facing the patio. Having these closed dropped the temperature enuf that i was pretty amazed. Lately, it has been pretty cold, rainy and/or windy. I have clips on each section keeping them closed and they block an incredible amount of wind and the rain doesn't go thru them. I had said earlier, the backs have faded, but who cares! If u r considering getting these for outdoors - sale or not - WORTH EVERY DIME. Incredibly happy customerLOVE THESE! I realize these r for indoors. However, my patio is 30' long and when the sun starts setting, the sun is directly facing my patio. It gets very hot. Not only do these block all of the sun, they r light enuf to blow around a lil and let a breeze in. They have rod pockets that r pretty big or u can put clips. These r toffee.

This is a very nice blackout curtain for the price. I have this curtain on the doors that hands down get the most light. I'm very pleased with how little light it lets in. The photos in this review were taken at the brightest time of the day and I think it does wonderfully.As for color recommendations, I would say stick with the darker colors no matter what blackout curtain you get. It seems that people who get white have more of a glare from outside light.Oh! Make sure you get a nice and sturdy curtain rod. This curtain is kinda heavy and the thicker your curtain rod the less it'll weigh down the middle. Our curtain wasn't strong enough so we had to put a support in the center which meant that the curtain only opens half way. It's fine though because we got a curtain hook and it works just fine.TLDR: Wonderful blackout curtain for price. Darker colors might preform better and I recommend you get a strong curtain rod if you get the longest version.

I was finally able to get these hung, and these were exactly what we were looking for as far as the color, durability, privacy and material (flowyness). They are not heavy looking, BUT, i just noticed that one of the panels (I haven't opened two) has two odd smudges on it. I'm hoping I can wash it--but that means taking ALL those pins out! or perhaps i will take it back and order another one. If they send me another one, I will change the rating to a 5 for great customer service. I just don't feel like returning it!
