Complete Garbage
Did not fit my 84 shovelhead. Outer clear head does not clear inner primary. Had to remove a lot of material with a dremel tool to get it to fit. Then the threads are far too long so oil blows past the threads once you back slightly off the face of the flywheel. Worse yet, this causes the oil to flow across the sight window, basically making this tool completely worthless to see the timing mark. Complete turd. To advertise this fits all Big Twins is simply a lie.

Won’t thread into timing hole
The threads are poorly cut, I can’t get it to thread into the timing hole.For these type plugs to work, they need to thread in close to the flywheel, without touching. This plug does not do it’s intended job.

Save your money.
1. It does not fit a harley timing hole at all.2. Poorly made3. To short. You cannot view your timing marks4. Have a garbage can handy. So you can throw this junk away.5. The maker of this timing plug is probably riding a moped and not a harley

Sight plug for timing
Used it on my Sportster 1200 and worked great. Easy to see timing mark and no mess.
