Amethyst Worry Stress Stone

I love this stone. One third of my stone is slightly purple, the rest of the stone is a little pinkish looking. It measures 1.75". No flaws are evident, and it is very smooth. This stone is part of an order of palm/thumb worry stones from Green Earth Stones. My purchase was made on January 29 and was received on February 1. It was packaged in a velvet bag, enclosed in an outer bag with the name labelled on it.

I've used touchstones for decades. My mother bought me several when I was trying to stop sucking my thumb, so they've been in my life for a very long time. It's very hard to find them now and the selection I found on Amazon was broad, but none of them is quite right. This one, for example, is so thin that I'm afraid it will break.

this stone is very pretty and just rubbing it makes me believe my stress is decreasing...I would call it "soothing" best pocket change ever spent...

While this stone is very smooth, and perfect for it's intended purpose, I did find the size to be a big large for my taste.

I bought a few of these as gifts for friends who are also in the AA program. If you have time look at the history of the Amethyst in Greek mythology. It's extremly interesting.
