It fits well in the hand, has nicely rounded tines so my cat actually enjoys it - I guess it feels like a good scratch at an itch does - and it grabs the fleas.Fur ball is a hunter, and as a result he picks up fleas - and a once a month flea drop doesn't appear to get rid of them all. So I got this and it works brilliantly, helping to control the numbers between flea drops. I found the best method is a glass bowl of water, a good quality pair of tweezers, and a flea comb. Comb what you can - always moving the comb in the same direction so you don't comb the fleas right back in again - then drop the comb in the water.Use the tweezers to move the fleas and fur into the bowl, then go to town with the tweezers "cracking" the fleas. because they are under (or on) the water, they can't jump, so it's relatively easy to kill them one by one, even the tiny little ones. wash the bowl out, wash and dry the comb, and go back for more!

This is one of the better combs I have purchased for my cat. He has wiry fur that's not too thick and this goes through it perfectly and he loves being combed. Well spaced tines for catching any fleas.

It’s doing a good job at fishing out the fleas but I wish I had bought a white comb and not a black handled one. It’s hard to see the fleas when they’re not directly on the spokes.

It’s easy to hold, well made, very easy to use. Easy to clean, teeth are very close together so catches fleas and removes flea “dirt”, I’ve used it twice so far today, and already removed 18 fleas. Frontline doesn’t work anymore so having read good reviews about this thought I’d give it a try. For the small amount of money you pay it’s worth its weight in gold! Wish I’d bought this before the last lot of expensive frontline. I have a mug of soapy water ready, and I dip before I comb, and this helps any fleas and eggs to stick better to the comb. Its size is versatile- you can pretty much dip the metal teeth right into the mug and remove everything on it. Well worth the money!! My cat Miah was so relaxed after his groom he fell asleep as you can see 😸

Good comb for removing fleas

Not a sturdy comb, but will do the job. Better on a cat than a do.

I'm really pleased with this comb.It's really easy to use, resistant and with a nice grip even in wet conditions.My "mate" loves it (I guess it's rather like skretching and cuddle him at the same time), and you can see that a lot of fleas are removed. Well, not all of them obviously.I guess the thinnest and most elegant ones stay behind since they pass through the middle of the comb's teeth ! 😉🤭😜
