got a nasty coffee stain out of my couch! this works pretty well on fabrics and the smell isn't too bad!

This Resolve stain remover really works wonders on my sofa! It successfully removed coffee, dust, and even some stubborn paint stains from my kids. I've found it to be incredibly effective on my velvet sofa, though I'm not sure how it would perform on linen fabrics. This is a must-have for keeping upholstery looking clean!

I recently knocked a cup of Earl Grey tea onto my favorite reading chair! The fabric is a "washable" cotton linen with a leaf design. Some of the leaves are velvet. It was an expensive chair and this product removed all of the tea stain including the brown edges/water marks of the stain. I received the Resolve next day and followed their instructions to the letter. I did NOT oversaturate the tea stain, I did NOT rub a cloth into the stain after applying the Resolve. I sprayed the tea stain with a light even spray of Resolve as directed, waited 5 minutes and then gently but thoroughly blotted the stain with a folded white cotton dish towel blotting from the edges of the stain towards the center. I kept folding my blotting towel over, gently but briskly blotting it until it was nearly dry. I did this spray/blot routine 4 times making sure my blotting towel was clean. I went through two cotton towels to block the stain that covered an area of about 12 in. x 10 in. I am not the most patient person and did not think that I was going to get the entire stain up, especially the water stain along the edges...BUT this Resolve is a miracle worker! It got the tea stain completely out without creating a new water stain, even AFTER waiting for the Resolve delivery to arrive the next day. All I did right after the tea stain happened was take white folded paper towels and blot it repeatedly trying to get as much moisture out as I could. I think this helped a lot so it didn't allow too much of the tea to sit/seep in overnight. Regardless, the Resolve came to the rescue and removed all of the stains! Why did you pick this product vs others?:Its good reputation.

I saw a lot of other reviews singing the praises of this stuff for furniture stain removal. My nephews wrote on one of our tan linen chairs using a black crayon or mascara pen leaving a few marks in a visible spot on the chair.Long story short, I followed the directions to the letter and while the black crayon marks were 80 - 85% removed, as you can see that it left weird light colored stains on the entire back of the chair, which look worse than the original stain. I did test a small spot near the bottom back of the chair, as instructed, which didn't cause the same issue.My chair is a light colored linen ... not sure if it was the fabric which caused the issue, but the chair is basically ruined. I will try another product ... but if that doesn't work, sadly the chair is now bound for the trash. (I could have lived with the black lines.)I seem to be in the minority that this was not easy to remove a spot without ruining the fabric. While this is odorless and has no scent, the performance was a disaster for me. The chair has the appearance of large light colored ring stains. In the future I will go with spot treatment sticks or pads vs. spray on formulas, like this.Because of how it came out, I cannot recommend this product unless you are willing to take the risk of ruining your furniture with a discolored ring. I hope my picture and honest review after using the product were helpful to you.

Great spot cleaner that I used for a stain in my cloth seats in my SUV. Easy to use.
