Not for natural nails?
I can't use these. I'm giving a few stars in the event that I'm just completely ignorant. I am a classical guitarist and file the nails on my right hand to shape. I normally use ordinary 4 way files. I thought that's what this was. It's not. It felt totally different and could not shape with precision. My wife said these are used with acrylic nails in salons. Guess that makes sense. Certainly did not feel like they could be useful for normal finger nails...

Super For Gel Nail Polish
I just started using the gel nail polish. I bought these buffing/sanding blocks for two reasons. The first is to prep my own nail beds. I use the rougher side first, then buff with the smooth side so that my nail is clean of any left over polish. This ensures a smooth application of the gel polish.The second way I use these is to help remove the gel nail polish. When you use a UV/LED light - the polish hardens and adheres very well to your nail bed. Filing the nail polish with the rough side helps to break up the adhesive and allows for an easier removal. Once I file the polish, I soak my nails in pure acetone for about 10 minutes. The polish can then be peeled off the nail bed. These are excellent quality. I can use the same block several times. Highly recommend them!

Great Buy!
These are great quality for the price. They are coarse enough to be used on acrylic or dip powder. I wouldn’t recommend using this on your natural nail as it may be too rough. I will be ordering more in the future!

Exactly what I needed
I’ve had acrylics since I was fifteen due to how bad I bit my nails. I like to buff and file between fills to keep my nails looking nice. These are perfect for when I need to buff my matte coat. I have one at home, at work, and in my purse. And still have extras!!

I liked these but I have a feeling they won't last long. I almost feel like they were meant to be single use and done. But for the pricenI won't complain too much.
