OMG!!!!! This is one of the best shower filters that I have tried. My skin is smooth and refreshed after every shower. The auto cleaning function is simple and gives me a peace of mind. The water is good clean that I can drink from it :-) in fact sometimes I do. You will fall in love showering all over again.

I am on my second Canpro shower filter now. I can't do without one now while I take a shower. This filter removes the chlorine from the water and I don't have to absorb the chlorine into my skin and nasal passages any more. Amazon made it simple for me to order one. It was down right almost impossible to find an order screen on the web. But Amazon came through. Thank you Amazon.com my friends.

I've been using this filter in 2 showers for 2 years. Probably purchased 5 or 6 replacement filters and had 1 replaced under warranty. I like the design and idea of this shower filter. Being able to backwash is nice. However, the filter media on everyone of these has passed through the shower head and ended up in the bottom of the shower. All of these were properly installed, flushed and backwashed on a regular basis. Even new replacements have been an issue. I've finally decided to go back to using the Aquasana filter. KDF filter media has been added to the coconut shell carbon and I feel that the Aquasana will now be a good product to use. The Aquasana has a larger volume of filter media and the water is forced up vertically through the media just like the Canpro. This allows the media to settle back down into the housing as the shower is turned off. There is no backwash feature but I'm planning on changing the filter out every six months as I have done in the past with this filter.

These definitely work - I'm much less dry coming out of the shower than otherwise. I recommend these for sure if you get super dry out of the shower!

I used this filter for over a year and it made a very noticeable difference on the shower water. My skin was softer and my hair felt much nicer. It is easy to flush the filter and mounting it on my shower was no problem.

i bought this on the recommendation of my health doctor. works great. You can actually SEE a difference in the water.
