We purchased the doorbell intercom for my parents in law and it was a hit! They used to peek through the door curtains every time someone rang the doorbell. Now they get to see who is at the door. They are in their 70s so safety is always a main concern. They get to see who is at the door and speak to them without opening the door (very useful in case of unwanted soliciting). We will probably be getting another one for ourselves!

It works quite well, if you are looking for something simple to install without the need of internet or Wi-Fi, this is the best option, it is easy to install, just follow the instructions.It's important to keep in mind that the cable is long enough but it depends on the distance you want to place the monitor, if you need a longer cable you can get it easily at any hardware store.

I suggested this for work so everyone that works on the 2nd floor can view & buzz people in (electric strike is sold separately) when the one person who works on the 1st floor is away from their desk...we have the monitor approx 63 LFt away from the camera, the video & 2-way audio signal is great.Really simple setup: you just mount the cam, then mount the display (near an outlet or use an ext cord), run the cable btwn the two (a cable is provided, but we needed it a bit longer so we got another one, they’re pretty cheap), plug it in (read the operating manual) & turn it on (the cam is powered via the cable that you have run to the display unit)...there’s no wi-fi to worry about or anything so no lag w/this system...very pleased

I ordered this doorbell 9 months ago and has worked wonderfully. I didn’t want one that connected to WiFi or ran on batteries. This is exactly what I was looking for. Sadly, it stopped working after 9 months and started flashing. It wouldn’t turn on or do anything so I contacted the company and they sent me a new one free of charge. What a wonderful company and product.

I love it but one thing it's not clear but that's ok

Button on the doorbell camera doesn't work properly. Package has a phony QR code to activate the warranty. When you scan it "warranty activated" shows up on the screen and that's it. No warranty number, no verification code. I had to verify warranty with their customer service. Again no warranty number, no verification code. Recently emailed them multiple times about the issue and have received a ZERO response. Amazon Customer service told me "KEEP TRYING". So you can promise what ever you want and sell crap on Amazon and go hide. You will not be held accountable.

The doorbell is incredibly easy to install and works as advertised, but the volume on the "outside unit" (the piece the visitor interacts with) is incredibly loud and at the time of this review - volume is not able to be adjusted. When the device is being used in an "indoor" it's way too loud to be used without annoying anyone within 30 feet of the unit.PROS:*Easy to setup*Easy to useCONS:*The "outside uint" volume can't be adjusted. Making it unsuitable for an indoor office environment.If the seller responds to my inquiries, i'll adjust this review. However, this may get returned for competitors device that is more suitable for indoor use.
