NEW FORMULA SUCKS...
NEW FORMULA SUCKS! SEE IMPORTANT UPDATES AT END OF REVIEW.This toothpaste is really the best out there. It removes that rough plaque buildup that accumulates on the surface of my teeth. Usually toothpastes that are capable of that leave my gums feeling sore and dry. Not this stuff. Your gums will actually feel soothed and hydrated afterwards, dentist clean. I even think this is removing some of the tobacco stains between my teeth and along my gum line where the roots are exposed due to recession. I don't think I'll ever use anything else again. My only complaints are that there are fewer ounces of product in these tubes verses traditional tubes, which means you'll use them up pretty quickly ---> $$$. Also, even a toothpaste squeezer is pretty much ineffective in squeezing out perhaps the last quarter of product because the material used in constructing the tube is not very flexible/pliable, much more rigid than any other toothpaste tube I've ever encountered. Again $$$.Just a note - this toothpaste is a brown color - pretty cool actually, but I wasn't expecting that. It tastes good too.IMPORTANT UPDATE: They changed the formula SIGNIFICANTLY since my 5-star review. Less of the 'healthy', more expensive ingredients in this product now, such as aloe. The healthy ingredients are now further down on the list of ingredients. Chemicals added to the top of the list. I will try the new formula, but am very disappointed that the company changed what was once perfect just the way it was. Shame on you. I'm going to 'try' this new formula, but am not happy that they changed it.FINAL UPDATE: I bought the new formula to try. I could tell right away when I squeezed the tube to put the toothpaste on my toothbrush that the ingredients had changed. The tube was MUCH softer, squishy-er than that the old formula. When I added water to my toothbrush and started brushing it became very WATERY and was dripping out of my mouth. My teeth definitely did NOT feel 'dentist clean', and this new formula did NOT sooth my gums AT ALL like the old formula had. Not enough aloe, essentials oils, and clay. Those key ingredients used to TOP the list of ingredients, but now they are further down on the list. I actually LIKED the thick, gritty old formula. It stayed in your mouth and was very soothing. This formula burned. I will go back to Desert Essence. Unless they change the formula back to what it once was, I will NEVER buy this toothpaste again. I'm picky too, as I am a smoker. This toothpaste USED TO remove stains too. Forget that now. Colgate is better.

A Gentle & Effective Whitener
I used this product for a long time, then switched back to regular toothpaste. Now I'm back to using Clay Brite and I will stick with it. In less than a week, and I can see a noticable difference in the whiteness of my teeth. It is a gentle product and does not aggravate tooth sensitivity. The flavor is not great... sort of bland, the way chewing gum is after you've chewed it for awhile. But it leaves your mouth feeling clean. My dental hygenist also confirms that it does a great job of removing stains (I'm a tea drinker) and plaque. Well worth the cost, which is somewhat higher than for regular toothpaste.

Good product, bad packaging
I love this toothpaste! Really keeps the tartar away. I like to use a tiny dab of both this and Toms toothpaste together because this does not lather & I do like a little bubble in my toothpaste. The only flaw is the packaging. Once you use about 70% of it, it gets harder to get it to come out of the tube bc the tube is airy & you just can’t squish it right. So you either need to waste a good amount which I’m not ok with since this is pretty expensive toothpaste, or cut the tube open & keep dipping your brush in which is messy & gross. I still keep buying it but get annoyed at the end every time.

Natural but not disgusting tasting.
I bought this because it is fluoride free originally. I have since repurchased it.It is mint flavored and doesn't have funky chemical ingredients like most toothpastes. The newer batches seem to have a better and stronger mint taste than before, but maybe it's my imagination. It does have a slightly gritty feel, but not so much that it feels like you are scraping your teeth. Also, if you've never used this toothpaste before, it is brown. See pictures for ingredients and toothpaste.

This is the best tooth paste I have purchased
This is the best tooth paste I have purchased! My teeth feel & look very clean. They're white but not the "fake" white you get with all the other whitening tooth pastes. On and off I would get sensitive gums but none of that anymore and I've been using it for about a month now (the first tube I purchased was at a store but since I wasn't able to find more, i purchased more online!). It doesn't foam like regular toothpaste which I don't mind at all. Will definitely buy it again!!! And thx for the very quick shipment👍🏻

Wonderful natural toothpaste tastes great and works awesome!
Great taste! I'm so happy to find a natural toothpaste that is fluoride and gluten-free. I'm not worried about swallowing it. Freshens my breath and gets my teeth clean. My dentist was very concerned when I mentioned using a fluoride-free toothpaste, but she couldn't find any issues when my checkup showed no cavities!

Good for kids too.
I bought this for my 5 year old. I wanted an alterative to coventional toothpastes. I like that It has Xylitol. My dentist recommended the use of Xylitol in my child's dental hygiene regimen since it helps starves off sugar craving bacteria. It has made my child's looks much whiter as well. The texture was a little different at first but is used to it now. I just said it was like brushing with dirt and it made it more fun.

Really wonderful for your gums.
They say that gum damage is not reversible. Not true. Using this tooth paste in combination with occassionally adding baking soda (or using baking soda alone) has significantly improved my gum health, to the point where my dentist and oral hygenist have commented on the positive changes. I have given it to friends and they agree that it makes your teeth feel really clean. Not bad tasting or unpleasant. I wouldn't use anything else, and especially not commercial toothpaste with all of the chemicals. Highly recommend.
