I got these to remove the pin hairs And feathers that seem to be excessively left on chicken lately. Gross.I ordered the two pack which has a slanted edge and then a straighter one for about $7. They feel nice and heavy and seemed pretty sharp, however upon using the slanted pair, it appears the edges do not meet correctly, so the feathers slip right thru. It is worthless.The straight edge pair was better but I still have some issues depending on where the feather falls along the edge. It still slips thru about 30% of the time. I’ve not used them for fish bones but do not typically eat fish that still has bones, so I may not have the opportunity to try them on fish.If I decide to return these, I would spend the same amount or more for a pair that work 90% of the time.

I tried using these in my butchery class and I struggled with them. Found out I receive two of the same kinds. Not only that but trying to pull out chicken tenderloin out of chicken tendons was extremely difficult.

It is sturdy and easy to clean. But it does not perform the job. Cannot hold on and take out any hair. I have to switch to use my wife’s eye tweezer to take out the hairs from meat. Will not recommend. Since it’s not expensive, I will not bother returning it.
