These controllers are great. First thing I will say about it is that it is bigger and thicker than the nintendo joycon. It also does not work with the controller adapter that you can use to turn your joycons into a handheld controller. It also does not charge on your nintendo switch. It also is not a perfect fit in that it seems to move slightly up. It still holds but it is annoying to have that feeling. You need to charge them separately via usb type c. They only provide one cable which is odd to me since you can literally only charge one at a time. You do get trigger buttons on left and right. It works together and individually. It does feel sturdy but the plastic does feel a bit cheap. It replicates the blue and red color joycon pretty accurately. There is no LED on the home button so it will not show you the updates or news for the switch. All the buttons are pretty responsive and there are no lag issue or drag issue. The overall use time lasted me about two full switch charges before I needed to charge the controller again. Pairing it was a bit difficult to try and get it to detect and the instructions were a bit difficult to follow. Unfortunately connecting it does not do the job but just follow the pictures as best you can to pair. Once it has paired for the first time, it really is easy to reconnect. It is power on and auto connect. It also will turn off by itself if there is inactivity.

Great for kids but wont fit in any accessories nor will they charge on the system. They are great for letting younger kids beat them up and not spending full price, but not great all around for much more than that.

I got this for my sons birthday today and we just tried using them. They keep messing up and they don't turn very well at all. Since I ordered them early, I can't even return them. Spend the extra money and just get real joy-cons. I wasted money on these that could have been better spent.

Purchased these while sending my real Joy Cons in for warranty repair because of... what else?... DRIFT...Played with these for many hours and had no issues. I called these the "jonky cons"Pros - cheap as heck; paired pretty easily; good battery life; overall work very well; arrived with a two prong charging cable to charge both jonky cons at the same timeCons - shape is a little funky; do not charge with console (must be charged separately); sometimes the pairing gives you a hard time (seems to be when low battery); had trouble pairing to another switch when my friend wanted to use them with his switch.

Product works well and is comfortable enough for long play times. They are a little bigger that the Nintendo OEM joycons. For less than half the price they are great.This is my second pair of these low cost joy cons. The other still works fine but wore the thump pads and wanted another set anyways.My original had drift after a few months but these lower cost ones have given me a problem yet.I would buy them again. Just be sure to look up how to sync them if you are having trouble.

It did work, but eventually one of them just broke down. Just save your money for the real thing.

These are quality joycons at an affordable price. They pair to the switch and allow two handed play or one joy in per person for games like Mario cart. They charge with USB and not with console like original joycons. They are grippy in the hands and better than original joycons if you have larger hands

These joycon won’t pair to the switch. And yes, I can read and followed the instructions. They simply don’t work. Half of the positive reviews on here aren’t even for the controllers pictured.Update: I tried various button combinations until I found the one that paired them to the switch. For the right joycon it’s the right direction button and for the left one it’s the left. They work great once you get them paired but the directions that come with them are totally useless and inaccurate.
